I’m addicted to this series, but the strange thing is, it’s like I’m watching something I’ve already seen. At 55, I’ve always known Jesus was not just a humble carpenter, but also a kind, loving, compassionate, charming and charismatic man, with a terrific sense of humour. I wasn’t raised in a religious household, I’m the only one of faith in my family….i can’t explain it. It’s as if I just know Jesus like he was a lifelong friend, the kind of guy I’d be honoured to call my friend, and more…..I just know him, but more, he knows me. There’s an unspoken feeling of knowing him beyond the average person, but I can’t explain how or why I feel this. I never went to church regularly, just weddings, and the very occasional Easter or Christmas. My family identifies as Anglican, but I consider myself a Catholic. I’m sorry, it’s difficult to put into words, I talk to him like I would a dear friend, not with the strict reverence most others do, is that bad? Why do I feel I know is him when I was never taught a thing about him? Thoughts? Thank you.
Probably because our soul is innately made to know and love God I guess. I mean there are testimonies of people not knowing God, but after Jesus revealed himself to them, it is as if they knew everything that only God knows and they recite bible verses that they have never read in their entire life.
The Holy Spirit must have called you and you must have responded with gladness and trust and now the Holy Spirit is with you, and in you and Loves you as you do Him. The Holy Spirit, God the Father, and Jesus, our Lord and Savior. The Blessed Trinity. I’m not a minister or clergy member. I’m a Christian, but also just an ordinary person, but that’s what it sounds like to me as to why you feel you know Him, and I’m sure you do. God Bless you. Glory to God.
Oh honey, you don't need to know anything about Him. Because of this series, I think that A LOT of people have come to know JESUS the one that is your best friend. He is our closest friend we will ever have. I am addict to the series as well. I didn't grow up in a church. But you know, that you know, that you know, when He shows up in your life. This series has brought me so close to HIM that I feel like you do. Like HE Is my best friend. And Dallas has done His job at doing that. He didn't want people to think that Jesus only came here to just bring God's word. He was human like all of us. He grew up a lil Jewish boy, into a teenager, and a man and had all the issues that any of us would have. I LOVE HIM DEARLY! Thank you Dallas for this beautiful series that we will be able to buy one day and share it with every generation.
It sounds like you just have a beautiful relationship with Jesus. Helices in you by the Spirit. :)
He does know you, but do you really know Him? See Him out in the eord of God. Jesus is the word. Through Him all things were made and without Him was not anything made that was made. He is with God and He is God. He wants you to speak to him just as you are, as a friend. But you need more, more then this show can give you. If you really want to know who He is you need to read the scriptures which declare Him to us.
The difference in the disciples after His death and resurrection, was the giving of the Holy Spirit.
What draws me to Jesus, is His holiness. In so many leaders, there is the public, shiny side, and the private darker side. Not so in Jesus. There's no dark side to Him. He's holy and beautiful, inside through and through. I love Him 🥰
The Chosen has so many times exposed my own misunderstandings and helped me to see myself as Jesus would.

Love this show. Dallas is very talented in directing very talented actors. Also, perhaps most importantly, he (Dallas) has the attitude that he is a servant of God, the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit and working to bring people to God. The whole series has been put together so well and the script and sets well depicted and just the way that they all work together make watching this series so captivating; reminding us, teaching us and bringing us closer to the one true God. Show aside, If you cant tell me Jesus's real name then you dont know the real religion.
Jesus real name in english is Jesus ..... might be different in Aramaic, or greek or hebrew eh! and Jesus answers prayers in any langauge said in His name ...... and I do not follow a "real religion", I follow Jesus who hated religion.
