Menacing is the word I was looking for yes, I try so hard to just cruise along in my 2011 S63, but that "menacing" sound just pushes of the cliff.
I went for the CL. Sometimes when there are people that don't know what it really is see the 6.3 on the side they look with a confused face and I blast off at the light
@Val Shealey Yes I have done a couple of things since bought, I replaced the pulsation damper for the ABC system it started to make a whining noise, I also replaced the right O2 sensor, both straight forward easy DIY's I'm assuming you're asking repairs, other then that I have done several custom stuff, rear carbon fiber spoiler and carbon fiber side mirrors, chrome delete and black out of emblems, the car is irridium silver and the carbon fiber really stands out it's a beauty

I got both the xjl and the white s63 with the piano black designo interior... ppl always ask which one i like more... answer is always the jag... fast. Powerful. Fun n moves like a cat.. the s63 is fast n fun too but feels soooo heavy i dont like the boat like feeling

I had the same exact car and I sold it as it cost way too much for brakes , rotors,etc. It was fun but if you buy one look out for the cost of maintenance.

parts are expensive
A brake job on this is not any different than any other car except the parts a triple.
plus, it a more electrontrics than the space shuttle, all which will has an expiration date.
BUT, you can pick one up for the cost of a carolla and the depreciation is already factored in, the cars should not drop in price "much" anymore.

2009? No way. The rear lights are before 2006 and from 2009 there was the new enginge with 5,500ccm and biturbo

class though) 2011-2013 was 5.5 twin turbo.
I thought the engine in those AMG S 63's was the 6.3 Liter engine? You said 6.2 🤔
treydot_ It's 6.2l, all 63's are 6.2l. If I remember right, they name them 63 because they make a tribute of first Mercedes with 6.3 engine, 300 SEL 63. Ur life was a lie
@@mangostory4753 Your life was a lie aswell... Actually there are some 63s which have a displacement of 6.3l. Namely the W220 S63, the C215 CL63 and the W463 G63 (only from 2001-2002). All of them are super rare and powered by a 6.3l V12 (M 137 E 63).
Some have 6.2l its the more common model and the rarest one have a v8 6.3l a little bit more hp

I have a 2009 s63 amg and im just noticing they are not one n the same. My rear doors have more features than this... this one looks like a s550.
Mines has all the functions of the front seats.. extended base. Recline. Adjustable headrest. Heated seats.
Mines is the designo version with the black n white piano keys interior.
Swear i thought all 09 s63 amgs had these features... learn some new everyday
