I don't think that Tom Cruise's Iron man will be the superior iron man. Instead in the age of ultron he got the control of ultron like Jarvis, then found out about the mind stone in specter, then created ultron bots, civil war never happened, when thanos came on earth having power stone and space stone he defeated him using ultron like in the animated series and got the three infinity stones, then became hungry for power, made a greater iron legion and take over the earth. His suit will not require arc reactor anymore as he has infinity stones and will be present near his chest like in what if.

I have two theories for Tom cruise version of Ironman with infinity stones and beheaded Thanos and I think there are 2 Possible nexus event in main timeline which will make him what he is.
1- so the nexus event will happen during Age of Ultron where Tony successfully executes the Ultron program for peace keeping but whole Avengers have mixed feelings about this. Also governments around the world are also not happy with one individual or group(Avengers) having all the power of world peace and possibility of this happening is high since we saw in civil war of main timeline where governments don't want the hero's to do unauthorised work. And during this time Captain Rogers might go against Tony according to his belief. This whole backlash pressure from governments and fellow Avengers might cause huge stress to Tony and he might become very egomaniacal about saviour of the world thing(just like Superman in injustice 2). And with Ultron program on its full potential might have defeated the Thanos and his army. But the stones he collected are still on earth, so Tony being Tony he might experimented with them too to put them for some potential use.
2- so this nexus event happens during infinity war on Titan where in main timeline strange saw 14 millions outcomes out of which only 1 there have won. I think in other outcome they might have taken the gauntlet from Thanos as per the star lords plan but since Thanos is still strong without the gauntlet they might have lost the physical fight the strange and other left to earth through portal to earth for safeguarding of gauntlet and during this fight Spiderman might have died. On earth Tony might be grief in pain and is getting ready since Thanos will again come for the gauntlet and I think Tony with others help would have defeated the Thanos. But Tony couldn't handling the peter's death and PTSD from the New York battle and current one took serious toll on Tony's mental health and creates a obsession of saving the world thing (just like Superman in injustice 2) and decides to start Ultron 2.0 or just upgrade the existing Edith program while experimenting with the stones from the gauntlet.
Anyways it's just a theory and would love to see the origin story of Tom cruise version iron man.

I think showing an iron man in mcu who can possess infinity stones ( possesing which rdj iron man died ) and keep thanos head in jar ( fighting whome rdj iron man died ) whould simply prove rdj iron man weak, and i bet marvel would never ruin rdj's tony stark image. Because if at all marvel sees a dip in earnings within 4-5 years, they can easily release a movie with rdj iron man and reclaim there prestige.

I just don't want that Marvel should destroy Legendary Iron man by doing trials with any other hero... It is hard to accept new Captain America.. not because of Falcon, Captain America meant to be a Leader. Nobody needs to give him that position, he eventually grabs it. I don't feel same with Falcon.
