I have a vast, as in MASSIVE collection of guitar magazines and books. It appears as though people enjoy my book reviews/recommendations so I will be doing a number of them.
The Guitar Handbook by Ralph Denyer has been a staple in my music library since the year 1990. Do you recall this year 31 years ago?
This book is fantastic and I have referred to it countless times over the years. It truly takes into account every minute detail about the guitar, including: biographies on famous players, history of the acoustic and electric guitars, how they are constructed, how they work, construction and electronics.
There is a massive chord dictionary, and a large section on playing the guitar, I really could go into a big description here but instead let's watch this video.
The Guitar Handbook by Ralph Denyer. I highly recommend it for everyone!

I still have my book I purchased in 1985. 6th edition. Still use it.

CC, this video is very old, one of the first videos I made for this channel a year and a half ago, things have come a long way since, I intend to do an updated version of this video in the near future. The book (my version is from 1990) is a must have for sure!
The chord dictionary at the back was so handy when i began. One of the best.
