We were in Bernal a few months ago... it is quite a beautiful area... also not far from the Vineyards and all that is Querétaro ! ENJOY your travels!

Just wondering if airbnb's would be cheaper than hotels? Is there a reason you prefer hotels?...curious as we are coming down in January
We like to drive our car to the central historical district and get a hotel this way we Park our car and walk, public transportation around. Yes it is a little more expensive and we're thinking about shifting to the Airbnb plan.
@@JerryBrownTravels Aaahh....its having a car to deal with that makes the difference...we wont have a car. My son who speaks Spanish will be our " tour guide" and he's used to getting ubers/ taxis. But thanks for responding!

Why
Toll roads
The toll roads are very convenient to travel on.
You spend too much on hotels. If you had booked or planned in advance, you would have saved a lot.
Yes that is correct but because we are traveling for six months and we're going to over 25 to 30 different cities I don't feel confident to be able to book that much in advance. When we travel we basically have no plans so I don't like setting arrangements ahead of time this way we can't be flexible. So definitely we pay the price for the way that we travel. We're reconsidering and may be looking at Airbnb.
