DBZ - The End of Vegeta Vegeta Tells Goku About The Saiyan Race
#dbz #dragonball #helwa - Розваги
*If you’re new here we watched all of DBZA and up to episode 223 of Buu Saga prior to this. All episodes requested to be watched were from our Patreon (requests are closed). I had to cut some scenes out for some of these to keep the video up but you can watch it all uncut in our $5 tier!* ❤️
Vegeta is my favorite character. So, as a kid watching him die, I cried all myself to sleep that night was depressed at school the next day.
But when u watch the saiyan saga uncut up to that point in the freiza saga ...he definitely got what he deserved
@@Jason5818UI he did, but that's the point. It was literally all because of Frieza. Vegeta never even had the chance to be anything else, nor did the saiyans. Frieza was the one causing all of the death, all of the violence. He needed to avenge the universe, including the saiyans, on the fucking tyrant.
“They made him an idiot in the Abridge.” Watch Super lol
That's because the Dragonball series is also a comedy series. Goku's character changes in Super are for comedic reasons only, nothing more. Although the writers of Super made Goku retain some of his personality in Z but tried to make him a fun character to watch, so that fans wouldn't get bored. Because of this their efforts ended in a negative reaction from fans.
They made him Goku in Super. Goku's character is supposed to be stupid, hence why in the Japanese he sounds like an uneducated hick in contrast to Gohan and Goten who sound educated and proper. The American dub decided to make Goku sound articulate and smarter than how he was portrayed in the original manga and anime. You don't know the real Goku unless you watch Dragon Ball in it's original context.
@@katchin1523i love you for finally for this cause i be telling people goku was always goofy don’t let the dub fool you but he can be serious at times but all in all he’s silly that’s why we love him
Man seeing Vegeta cry like that took me completely off guard when I was a kid. Like I was completely shocked 😂
Now you ladies see that the full episodes hold more weight because the dialogue is more serious
Now this is the DBZ I remember, with the iconic Bruce Faulconer score or “U.S broadcast stereo version” please watch more episodes with it girls.
Very memorable score, but Bruce Faulconer composed less than 10% of the music tracks for the show. Around 6 tracks total. He took the credit for composing the whole thing and screwed over his 3 teammates who did the vast majority.
@creativebeetle
I’m aware.
I was a little kid thinkin awww frieza bout to get it now I was hype the older I got the more seriously I took this scene
Y'all picked a great episode to react to!
Dude when I tell you I was on my hands and knees as a kid every time I would rewatch Vegeta sacrifice himself 😭 the most goated character
Theres extra sentimental value in this episode for me. This first came out in 1999, when i was 3 years old and i watched it with my dad. I asked my dad why Goku buried Vegeta even though he was evil. He said it was about "respect" and that Vegeta lived under the rule of a monster that made him evil. In 2007, my dad passed away from cancer but ill always remember watching this episode with him. Thanks for posting this video and being empathetic to Vegeta 😊
Thanks for sharing and may the memories and love he had for you continue to bring you comfort 💗
Vegeta death in the Namek Saga was very sad to spend the rest of your life being a slave and under someone thumb to try and get revenge only to not be strong enough and forcefully have to beg Goku someone he didn't like to avenge him. Like man I remember starting out not liking Vegeta but the Namek Saga is where I start liking the character. Christopher Sabat did a fantastic job as voicing Vegeta for this scene. But anyway I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, stay positive, stay blessed, take care and stay amazing Helwa and Hana.
Vegeta's death, and his earnest, bitter tears over the lot of himself and the saiyans at the hands of Frieza, is hands-down one of the most impactful moments of Dragon Ball.
Ten year old me was balling, like ugly crying seeing someone like vegeta to cry. Vegeta is the least expected to have an emotional moment. Vegeta showed real gangsta tears, and goku is a gangsta too, turning his back on the enemy to buried vegeta. Like I dare you to try something while I’m burying a man that saved my son and friends life while I was down and out, I be like next energy ray you shoot I’ll deflect it towards your head, I won’t be deflecting it to no mountain 😂
I used to watch dragon ball z from Saiyan to Cell saga twice a year everyday after school as a kid. Amazing series!
Me too! And if I miss it I recorded it VHS. Those were the times. Couldn't wait to get home from school. Especially the cell saga.
8:16 that was deep Goku❤
This is another GREAT reaction!
i watched this when i was 6 years old i dont remember how i felt but prolly bad since vegeta was my favorite character ever since he showed up in the saiyan saga
I miss this Goku. Dragonball Super made Goku more like the TeamFourStar version.
Watching this as a kid, shaped us men and made us what we are today.
Some of the dub dialogue is straight up goofy💀 “Your shoe came untied” What?😭
Yes, the original English dub felt like they needed to change all the dialogue for some reason (and even added dialogue when the characters aren't speaking lol)
@@LuisGustavoSO exactly that why i like more the original one
Way Better than the Kai dub buddy
@@realovio the kai dub is leagues better
@@craigime no tf it ain’t that shi is cringe
7:18 Vegeta, no he didn't 😂😂 OG Funimation really upped the drama
lol right... it's ridiculous
Awesome, you guys are watching DBZ with the Bruce Faulconer soundtracks.
When I saw this back in the day, I was scared of Frieza. But the moment Goku showed up for some reason, I felt like everything was going to be okay. To this day, the Namek Saga is the best, in my opinion.
That's good storytelling when the viewer feels that
If the one on the left need a dragon ball super boo thing to watch with im available 😂
So glad you guys were fortunate enough to watch this version (the real DBZ). Abridged was fun, but I loved this version even better. Lol
This is the funimation dub.
This is NOT the ocean dub... please research it. I don't wanna have to write a long paragraph about the difference..
how do you mix up the ocean and funimation dubs?
Bam. Fixed in seconds. Don't come get me guys lol
I definitely think the abridged was right on the point that Vegeta would still be evil without Frieza. However, the fact still remains that Frieza did take complete advantage of him, enslaved him, manipulated him, and used him. Vegeta isn't a good person, he did horrible things, but when it comes to his relationship with Frieza he's definitely the victim in that scenario.
Please watch the whole dbz . Abridged takes alot of liberty's
the funimation dub also takes alot of liberties*
Back when dragonball's violence still held wheight
Not dissing super but the seriousness of the story never hit as hard as Z
Even Daima fails to capture this old school Dark vibe of Z
Goku: “Hey! Let that Vegeta alone!”
Frieza: ”And what the hell is he?”
Vegeta: “He’s a Super Saiya-…”
(DBZA Kai 2)😂😂
Awesome video.
This is a great idea
lol the dialogue sounds way more dramatic in the english dub
Glad to see yall watching the right dub and not dbz kai lol
the kai dub is better
Dragon Ball Z!
I love this reaction, I’m glad y’all ladies are going back and watching the full episodes and seeing the true gravity of the story and character moments. And y’all watched with the faulconer score as the cherry on top 👌🏾
yall skipping parts and dialogue and shii. How you go from frieza throwing death beams to immediate vegeta death when there was a whole dialogue before that? Yall made it seem like frieza the death beams frieza threw at goku, hit vegeta when thats not the case.
Read the pinned comment idiot
I enjoyed the abridged version but seeing how different the original anime is/ I kind of feel that team four star ruined my perception of the show. I know it's unfair to say that/ because they're fans themselves but it's so different/ it surprises me sometimes.
they didn't ruin anything... you should have watched the original first then
Y'all should watch the Dragon Ball Z Kai version. It's also good.
L’esbo w’eirdos
Now U gotta watch episode DBZ 191 with Bruce Faulkner ost, u'll be shocked
They watched abridged before the original? That kinda ruins the reaction to the original
no it doesn't
To me, it did, it wont be the same during iconic moments, i wanted to see their first time reaction to certain scenes, now there is no point watching lol

Soit.
I was so confused
Goku will beat Frieza
Bet they totally goofed on this scene in abridged, things like that are why I hate it so much
they goofed this scene in the dub too... things like that are why some people hate it so much
Dbz is literraly the worst show ever
Its so corny and wtf is that dialogues and music
Why are u on this video then
@@sangoku876 I think you'll be happy to know that's just the American dub. The original show has better dialog, this is why DBZ Kai is so different to Americans, because they tried to follow the original script.
If it wasn't for DBZ the Western world would certainly not have heard of the 90s films or know about today's titles, so respect the anime that changed the history of animation
dbz is definitely not the best show, but to be fair this is just the trash funimation dub
@craigime Yours opinion is because it's not Brian Drummond for Vegeta and "original" 9000
