Gohan is GOAT but we shouldn’t fade Vegita. Cell was the main villain of the arc, this is how Toriyama does his stories. He always split his arcs into 2, maybe 3 parts, where we always think the 1st enemy that appears is the main villain. But what happens is the 1st villain usually leads to the main final boss. For example, Raditz led to Vegita, which lead to the main boss who is Frieza. Frieza was main emperor who gave orders to Vegita and Raditz. In this arc, we had 19 and 20 first, then 20 freed 17 and 18, who then gave “birth” to perfect Cell, the main villain. They all link to the main villain. This a good way to force the Z fighters to have character development in order to beat the main boss. Now onto the bubblegum arc. Spoiler alert 😂
Heya Mike & Alexis, only just found your reaction vids to DBZ, great job by the way! I just wanted to say its absolutely awesome how invested Alexis has become in the show, i wish i could erase my own memories of it just so i can watch it all again, like its the first time, i LOVE this show and always will, im so envious of you Alexis, if only i could watch it all again like it was the first time..the suspense, drama, everything is just perfect! i first watched DBZ when i was 10, waaayyy back, must be almost 30 years ago as im 40 next year! I saw it first on Cartoon Network, and it blew me away (this was before all the crazy cencorism started in the UK, so all the innuendo etc of the original Bruce Falconer Dub was left in, along with an awesome heavy metal intro soundtrack possibly the Ocean Dub? I cant remember... im to old haha) but yeh since that first time i watched episode 1 of dbz, i was hooked, and ive faithfully watched every episode of Z atleast once every few months since...Transformed At Last (ep.95) is my favorite episode by far, and Vegita's First, 6 minute long Final Flash possibly the 2nd...But Goku Becoming A Super Sayian for the 1st time still makes the hair on my neck stand on end...such an amazing show...all i can say is Thank You & RIP Akira Toriyama, I hope Otherworld is as amazing as you envisioned it ❤ and thank you guys for even after more than a quarter of a century still introducing this show to 1st time viewers so that can share in the specticle that is Dragonball Z ❤
The Art was amazing in episode Goku's sprite being there amazing!! And Cell is the best villian he forced everyone to chip in to defeat him, not to mention he's part Sayain. Let it out Gohan DO IT NOW!!!!! And Vegeta helping Gohan was epic. In a way Gohan to the z-fighters all cared for him deeply he's family to them and they protected him. Even Vegeta showed concern who don't like him that much. I'm glad yamacha played a part even though he's weak he managed to survive this whole ordeal. Even when the Cell jr were attacking he could have died. Sucked seeing perfect Cell destroyed. My favorite villian But for Gohan walking 🔥🔥🔥 Amazing!! The Cell/Android Saga is the best hands down introduction of Trunks Seeing Future Gohan in the special. Future Gohan holds a special place in my heart. Amazing charcter development
This entire thing is why I love this show so much. Tien's speech about Goku and Gohan immensely raised my respect for that character, Yamcha and Kirillin stepped up, Piccolo puts his love for Gohan in full affect, and Vegeta finally became a team player. Then, finally, Gohan turned Cell into a cookie in milk. Completely disintegrated.

That was THE MOST EPIC Kamehameha ever, the blast was so huge and powerful that it goes through and around Gohans whole body, I don’t remember seeing anything like that before or after this moment, the fact that almost everyone on the crew that can do something join up for the fight is also awesome, Vegeta had his own moment in what is essentially Gohan coming onto his own in power.
First time I saw this, I got scared when I heard the Captain Ginyu music when Cell was about to be killed by Gohan, I thought he was going to change bodies with Gohan last second.
It started from the time he head-butted Raditz as a toddler, to the time he was first Saiyan and human to inflict damage on Frieza, all the way until now where he is the hero who saved all mankind by beating Cell! One of the greatest stories told in all of anime, Gohan’s power always being there in an explosion that was waiting to be revealed. Teen Gohan is my all-time favorite fictional character in all of entertainment!! Thank you guys so much for reacting to these iconic DBZ episodes. I enjoyed revisiting memories through y’all’s excitement.

12:20 Originally it was supposed to end here after Cell was defeated. But because of how popular this arc and saga was, it ended up continuing on to the Majin Buu Saga, Dragon Ball Super, and (although non-canon) Dragon Ball GT.
I liked Frieza better because he took over more planets and was more original than Cell. Not to take anything from Cell but he didn't conquer a planet and he just copied everyone's moves but he was still a cool character not to mention the other Androids as well. I think this is the best end to a saga and the best they have finished a foe in DBZ. Frieza is my favorite villain, but this saga is definitely my favorite.
19:04 actually in the very beginning Dragon Ball Z was never supposed to happen. Then it was supposed to end with Frieza (hence the birth of "the longest five minutes in anime history"). Unfortunately Toriyama was strongarmed into continuing resulting in this and several changes along the way. After that, the next main arc was brought in. Finally, Dragon Ball Super was introduced after the last two DBZ movies were released (with actual government funding to produce said movies) so it has gone on FAR longer than originally intended several times

Seeing this in my teenage years was wild. The hype was at its highest with this episode
SSJ2 Gohan blew Super Perfect Cell into dust. OMG that was so good.
Gohan slowly walking towards Cell with a damaged arm as he's blasting him away, will forever be the coldest moment in anime history.
Cell was so perfect, even his end was perfect.
Well this "perfect" got his ass whooped by a half human and half saiyan.🤣
@@johnsantos507 you act like he got his "ass whooped" by just one person when it was literally him vs the entire Z fighters
The greatest moment in DBZ. The walking Kamehameha... wild.
16:26 😂😂😂 that’s what cell said
It’s always great to see someone experience this episode for the first time. 😊. It’s like reliving it all over again.
My favorite villian
But for Gohan walking 🔥🔥🔥
Amazing!!
The Cell/Android Saga is the best hands down introduction of Trunks
Seeing Future Gohan in the special.
Future Gohan holds a special place in my heart.
Amazing charcter development
Gohans walk forward as he releases all his energy is one of the hardest fucking images in the series
0:45 he says its way to big and runs from the explosion...her eyes widen and thinks and then... 0:54 she sees piccolo say gohan and feel fear... and says (mimes) "oh shoot..." ... glances at you after being stressed, then you are so into it and say knowing what will happen "look at the power" lol she was like okay he gots this 10/10 yall are great
This is why I named my golden retriever Gohan
One of my all time favorite DBZ moments right here that Beam Struggle lasted the whole episode!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁
10:24 Track ( famously played when Goku is trying to skate Namek in🫨😵 Friezas ship
This is the single anime episode that got me hooked for life. The greatest ending and voice acting of all time. Also shout out to the GOAT Vegeta 🙌🏾
Killing as he is getting blown away and almost drops Android 18: "noooo! My BAEteen!"
Hey bud, where are you streaming these episodes from? been trying to find these funanimation published DBZ episodes but had no luck so far.
Man i cant wait till yall get through the next couple arcs of DBZ . Im literally hype to see yall reactions to everything after now . Yall fan base gone be soooo much higher by the time yall get done with these next arcs .
12:20 Originally it was supposed to end here after Cell was defeated.
But because of how popular this arc and saga was, it ended up continuing on to the Majin Buu Saga, Dragon Ball Super, and (although non-canon) Dragon Ball GT.
But the funny part is that dragon ball super somehow feels more uncanon than GT lol
Frieza was suppose to be the end, then Akira Toriyama wrote this and it was suppose to be the Ultimate End.
I liked Frieza better because he took over more planets and was more original than Cell. Not to take anything from Cell but he didn't conquer a planet and he just copied everyone's moves but he was still a cool character not to mention the other Androids as well. R.I.P to Akira Toriyama (The creator of Dragonball and Dragonball z who passed away earlier this year and the highly underrated character of Android 16....🙏
Amazing y’all! Love rewatching this with y’all in this journey wait till the tournament of power!
When the piano started to play you knew it was the beginning of the end.
Where are you watching from? Where it has the Bruce Faulconer music!??? Please answer
Still get goosebumps every time Ginyu's Theme comes up as soon as Gohan takes over.
Love to this reaction. Thanks for not spoiling anything for her. I've seen some UA-camrs spoil things for their girlfriends and it ruins the experience. Can't wait for the next arc!
This is the best episode is all of DBZ and I love them all
Will yall be releasing the movies before the next saga? Or are they patreon only?
This was my favorite moment in dragon ball z plus as a gohan fan it made me so happy to see my favorite character kill cell.
Was the cell death ost the only time it was used?
This is why Dragon Ball will always be the peak of anime.
I don’t know her name but I’m glad your gf enjoyed it. I love when people are watching dbz for the first time and become a fan. Some people judge and think it’s for nerds no everyone from all ages can enjoy dbz. I wish more people would give it a shot. You guys should watch Jujutsu Kaisen
In the manga vegeta was the only one who could physically get close to him so I love how they adapted this
*I'll be the first to admit in the comment section that this reaction made me tear up. I started watching Dragon Ball in the 80's...when Yamcha was the strongest human and seeing this reaction as an old Man now is crazy*
Your girlfriend's reaction is so pure and honest. I absolutely loved watching this.
Thank you so much! Hope you continue to enjoy 🙂 She loves watching DBZ!
Hey been enjoying the videos. Once DBZ is completed, are you guys planning to cover DB Super?
This is one of the best episodes in Dragon Ball Z history, even to this very day.
I think she's gonna like the next Arc
this cell ark was originally supposed to be the final. So the show is also closing up lose ends. That's why it feels to well rounded as an end
This is not the last episode of Dragon Ball, next there is a villain who is stronger than Cell, we will continue to follow your video reactions, greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩👍👍
There’s a few hundred planets that got some acid rain from that Kamahamaha
Z still hasn't ended technically
@@HTxGhost24 that would depend on what (if anything) was retconned beyond a certain episode as it sets up GT which itself is not canon. Otherwise, true
I actually think you have like three episodes left of this arc possibly four but I think it's just three.
In the words of the Rocky IV song: THE SWEETEST VICTORY!!!✊🏿
Piccolo is a real hero, he knows he's no chance but he's fight💪💪
If u put yourself into the shoes of cell it’s kinda like if u and your girl going at it it’s gonna be hard to concentrate if u have four dogs behind u licking u 😂😂
Vegeta really the one with that kill 🔥
That not true there never been a statement said by the creator that this is the end
Well technically Akira Toriyama wasn’t going to end the story after the Cell games arc. That was just a rumor
Thanks for sticking to this series evry1🥰❤️🥰
19:55 The music in it is particularly good.
