I've been nicotine and cart free for 12 days now. First 3 days were bad but not as bad as I thought it would be. I never thought I'd be able to do my 12 hour job without nicotine or carts. Now I dont need it at all. I'm proud of myself and if you're trying too you can do it!
Brain fog? I'm on day 5 of no smoking, thanks to you, and what i noticed is significant brain clarity! But the craving hasn't subsided yet and that's the worst part of quitting, i hope i hit my 2 weeks nicotine free target.
Quit cold turkey day 11 - can go physically the other direction from the craving watch out late at night insomnia I ordered a thc 1g but physically that morning outside kept going in the other direction away from the product and in the heat and the sweat following through like Dr. Frank says - the accomplishment of not acting on that crave released my inner power and inner strength again for a day today. Outside is hot and humid sweating it out literally that discomfort it's not logical but the movement works. Thank you Dr. Frank

A week nicotine free, I’ve stopped thinking about it completely just hard when around people who vape. Thinking about quitting weed for the better me but also thinking about limiting it a lot to maybe 1-2 a week.
Hello I’m day 11 free from vaping nicotine. My stomach has been a mess heartburn diarrhea burning in my chest is this all normal will it pass over time
I had a heat stroke a month ago which triggered my sobriety from nicotine and weed...The thought of going through the heavy withdrawals which were, brain fog, cold sweats, diarrhea, nausea, lost weight and even depression makes me never want to smoke again..I've been working out to sleep better and using vitamin supplements...it's been about 5 weeks now and I feel like I'm in the home stretch, this is coming from a 20 year user.
Just quit cold turkey currently 5 days in and the brain fog seems to be alot less now than the first few days but i need to move on to leaving the thc behind
good job cold turkey day 11 - can go physically the other direction from the craving watch out late at night insomnia I ordered a thc 1g but physically that morning outside kept going in the other direction away from the dispensary and in the heat and the sweat following through like Dr. Frank says - the accomplishment of not acting on that crave released my inner power and inner strength again for a day today.
Hey Dr. Frank, I know this video is a little old so I doubt you’ll see this. But I am on day 91 without nicotine and am still struggling with brain fog and serious depression. Should I be concerned and talk to a doctor? Or is that normal? I am beginning to think this is never going to get better and losing hope.
At 91 days that does seem to be a bit odd especially with the serious depression. A doctor may choose to prescribe you something to like wellbutrin… you could also try taking the supplement NAC and if that helps. With that being said the only information I have on you is this comment. Normally I would have other questions.
@@AddictionMindset So the depression comes in waves to be honest, I will go generally like 4-5 days with very little, then 2-3 with pretty bad depression. Then back to normal again, though the brain fog generally persists constantly. I also quit drinking alcohol the same day, and never smoke weed, I work out several times per week and drink a ton of water. I’ve heard that after 3 months or so is when the brain should be generally resetting itself from a dopamine deficiency, but I am losing a bit of hope. I hope that clears up some questions. :)
That's normal. My brain takes so long to clear every time l quit and l also have the depressive mood. Yours l guess is more pronounced coz you were also drinking
Reading the comments make me wanna lose hope ,,,,iam in day 2 and the only reason iam pushing is that little hope that things will ease after a week ,,,,reading that ppl still suffering from brain fog after 2 months and more is depressing,,,iam a mom and icant function at all with this brain fog ,,icant even talk to ppl normally cuz idont understand what they r saying ,,,its not sustainable ,,iam scared these withdrawals wont go away
Hey! I’m on day 19 of no nicotine. The first few days is the hardest and then it gets easier and I honestly started to feel better. I still am struggling with a little brain fog, but it will get better with time. Hang in there! ❤
That's an update iam in day 10 now, and thank god ididnt give up cuz things have ry changed after the first week ,,,,not the sharpest mind still ,,,but iam good and its heading somewhere good

Vaping is extremely addictive psychology wise for me. Nicotine from cigarettes gives one a buzz but Nicotine from a vape gives you an intense rush but it only lasts a few seconds which leaves you wanting to hit it again and vapes are so portable and easy to use that people end up vaping all day. Fast onset equals more addictiveness!!
It hurts my friends that i have stopped smoking its day 23 and I think they are angry because they aren't able to quit and always force me i am afraid what if i start smoking again.
Even tho vaping was meant to help people quit smoking. And that might be all they want it to be for. The thing to understand is that people like different things. Vaping is very different from smoking some people who like vaping might not like smoking. And even tho it has to help smokers quit. I don't think it should be looked at like they have to be a ex smoker to vape. Because they are two very different things. Saying don't vape if you don't smoke. Is kind of like saying don't touch weed if you don't smoke tobabbo. But they are two different things
First 24hrs of no nicotine after four years of constant nicotine. The brain fog is insane. The day felt like it didnt even happen. I can handle cravings, but man this makes work awful.

Day three.. Withdraw this morning was crap. Shaking and almost lost my mind. Went to grab for a cigarette, and had to stop myself. The STFU brain was serious today. lol
I think ex smokers could have a lot more then possible good genetics as to why they might not get sick. Because if they had smoked for longer or smoked more a day. Or smoked a stronger brand or smoked at 10. Or even quit at a older age. Know one knowns what might of happened if the ex smoker did something differently.
