THIS IS ONE OF THE ONES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! Thank you for adding the characters and all from the 70`s and 80`s!!! JUST AWESOME! Man I so APPRECIATE all that yall provide!!!!!!! Been knowing and following Tim Brewer since I met him while he was working with Tiny Lund!
Tim Brewer and his stories is one of the best podcast to date. Now I want Jr and his new tv deal to have a next Gen cut away car segment with Tim Brewer.
Thank you so much for having Tim be a guest on the show, Junior. Tim seems like he'd be one of the very coolest guys to drink with anyway. Teach you insights you didn't think were possible. Almost in the way of a comedian's, lol. It's always great to listen to him retell so many of those watershed events he experienced at Junior Johnson as with Blue Max along with every team. So cool, he got to collab with Tim Richmond of all people.
"collab with Tim Richmond" ...they would both think you are crazy for using words that have zero value to either of them. Good grief ... "collab" ... they would be insulted to hell and back if you insulted them by saying that crap.
Tim Brewer is legendary and a cutaway genius when he was the ESPN Analyst. He work with some good drivers in the mid 2000’s. He worked with Kevin Lepage when Lepage drove for Morgan McClure. Tim was a great analyst. Thank you for inviting him into your broadcast.
This episode is one of my top favorites! I listen to the show every week while driving a truck for work and feel like I’m in the studio live with ya’ll. I could sit and listen to an entire in depth series just with Tim Brewer! Love this show, keep em coming!
Brewer is a one of a kind man . The best of the best . He did many innovative things with race cars , but the best I remember is how those guys changed red hot engines fresh off the race track in such a short amount of time . I"m sure they practiced that , as well as had some planned shortcuts to make it simple . Even still , no one did it better . I remember Barney Hall on the radio that day at Pocono saying " the next time you are at your local garage , and they tell you to leave your car there for a couple weeks , ask them to explain this " . A guy I would love to throw a couple back with anytime .
Oh my gosh, that much titanium would have cost a fortune. I know a thing or two about that. This is full of so much real honesty, and feelings. Tim needs to be in the Hall of Fame.
Tim Brewer what a fantastic guest to have on the show Dale & Team. Loved this episode, You should have Tim on there at least once a month, The guy is Nascar Story Gold.
Ultimate drinking game: Take a shot everytime Tim says "At the end of the day.." 😂😂 Love hearing Tim's stories and experiences. Could easily listen to a year by year podcast similar to Mark Martin's.
As a diehard racing fan no matter what type of racing and being only 29 years old I really wish I was born back when these guys where to be able to experience it all first hand
Glad Dale Jr. finally got Brewer on. Was hoping it would happen soon. Had some good stories and gave a good interview on Scene in particular about the '91 Charlotte suspension and '92 title run. That being said, Brewer always did like him some Brewer...
So glad you had Brewer on your show.. He is a library of history.. I remember suggesting for him to be on your show, nothing better than the stories from the good old days.. and Brewer has a ton if them...
Brewer’s one of the best at storytelling and making you feel like you’re there watching the story unfold. You should do Jeff Hammond next lol everything can come full circle.
Championships and Emmys. The man is a Legend one of the Greatest of all times. I’m 44 years old so i grew up watching his career from 80’s thru ESPN. He’s got that Midas touch.
‘Bat out of the ugly place’ Love it 😂 Awesome interview as always Dale. I’ve heard so many good stories and learned stock car history I didn’t know through all of your interviews.
Feelings between Tim Brewer and Junior Johnson. They all had their moments. I know you’d like to change Tim’s feelings, but never know what was not said and feelings at the time. Best I can tell you for his feelings like the song says let it be. Just let it be.
Gosh, I just love Tim Brewer! Glad I got to work for Geoff and him a short time in 1997. Sweetest man to ever fire me! (only boss to fire me. haha) Tim called me into the hauler, and said, "Men are assholes.... but i can replace a scorer easier than a transporter driver...." What is a boss to do when your (married to the scorer) transporter driver is banging the GoodYear Rep? Peyton Place Jeff and i still talk! Bless his heart! Tim can make a race car go fast and i am honored to have worked for this legend of motorsports. It was the best thing, tbh, I became a beekeeper, self proclaimed master gardener, taught beekeeping in Winston Salem for 4 years. Life after racing, is possible and was more exciting for a long while. I am now hard researching my Dad's (Vic Kangas) racing career, writing and researching. Chassis guys rock! Smokey Yunick Belongs in the Nascar Hall of Fame!
🙂 I am now near Dad and Mom in the Daytona area. I am a huge fan of Huffman Racing having met Landon and RJ on the sim, they have iRaced with my son over the past few years. I realized he was Robert's son, who I saw race in the 90s. I asked to be a fan, haha, since being raised in racing we did not know what it was like to be a fan. The Cars Tour is the greatest racing in the country at the moment. Motorsports is alive and well. Dale, Jr. is epic among the preservators of our sport. Thanks for all you are doing, to preserve the stories, the passion and heroes. And mentoring the new heroes to be.
One of the greatest minds in racing. He had success with so many great racing talents. I have a bunch of questions just from his time at Junior Johnson's.
When you put everything you can into a company, treat it as your own, think you are safe and then you learn the hard way you are disposable you can never get that level of trust and dedication to a company or owner. I understand Tims feelings about Junior Johnson
Wow what a great show!! Tim is a class act, a guy who seen and done it all. I could set and listen to to this man for hours. And he hit the nail on the head when he said ''NOW THOSE WERE MEN"....... God Bless you and your family Tim

I was at the Walmart today and the checkout girl told me Tim Brewer is great. Man gets around.

Loved this episode, You should have Tim on there at least once a month, The guy is Nascar Story Gold.
What an awesome interview. I love Tim Brewer. Thank you Dale.
I remember how Sterlings car sounded at Daytona because of that exhaust system Brewer mentions(57:52)... Wow
The famous ‘X’ pipe exhaust on the Morgan McLure Chevy. Lower back pressure and a few more HP.
Saw this and it felt like Christmas Morning. Been waiting and waiting on Jr to have Tim Brewer on the download!
Me too!
Same!
Ultimate drinking game: Take a shot everytime Tim says "At the end of the day.." 😂😂

I think this episode is one of my favorites. I’ve been wanting to hear Tim Brewer on here. This man should be in the NASCAR Hall of Fame
One of the greats from the Golden Era of Nascar, they dont make em like this anymore
How cool would it be to have Brewer to crew chief Jr on a few late model races? Brewer is certainly a gem of Nascar!!!
Glad Dale Jr. finally got Brewer on. Was hoping it would happen soon. Had some good stories and gave a good interview on Scene in particular about the '91 Charlotte suspension and '92 title run. That being said, Brewer always did like him some Brewer...

How is Tim Brewer not in the NASCAR hall of fame?
Politics. Just like the rock n roll Hall of Fame is complete bogus shite, so is NASCAR's HOF.
Championships and Emmys. The man is a Legend one of the Greatest of all times. I’m 44 years old so i grew up watching his career from 80’s thru ESPN. He’s got that Midas touch.
I have been wanting to see Brewer on here...He has some great stories, and has seen alot..Thank You JR
Junior really screwed the pooch when he replaced Tim who was Crew Chief on Bill's Team when they lost The Cup Title in 1992
‘Bat out of the ugly place’ Love it 😂
Awesome interview as always Dale. I’ve heard so many good stories and learned stock car history I didn’t know through all of your interviews.

Gosh, I just love Tim Brewer! Glad I got to work for Geoff and him a short time in 1997. Sweetest man to ever fire me!
