  • LNGs pollute. Its inconsistent to say we ban them in Ireland while at the same time we give planning permission to build terminals for their importation.
    Data Centres guzzle our electricity and water supplies and are likely to cause power outages this Winter. That's why I will present a Bill to the Dáil this Thursday to get them banned. But what are they for? Answer: they provide giant tech corporations the opportunity to 'mine' data so they can sell us more stuff we don't need. Govt supporters say Ireland will suffer 'reputational damage', if we don't accept more data centres. I was pleased to find on the special Climate commttee today, that expert witnesses say the opposite. Also glad to find experts agree with my points on LNGs
