This game is so cooked we all wanted to support it and make it good, and I truly think anything they do won't bring back players the amount of trust we lost for them is unreal.

they need to give pve to all eod players, make the upgrade from eod to new version at least half the price if not cheaper, and make a PUBLIC apology and explenation to this dumbass decision. if they do all, i feel they will be in decent standing with the average player. if not this mistake will go down in HISTORY in game dev failures.

To be completely honest I just tasted Tarkov and I don’t even want to new game. I want my game and I want it to just be good. Super frustrated

For me the conversion from us money to Canadian what kills me .. I own EOD and when I look at the prices for unheard is 100 bucks but it converts to 178 before tax.. I payed 240 for EOD and now this

I had EOD a year prior to the release of arena and I had to wait until the full release of arena when everyone got it to get it. EFT is nothing more than a money grab scam at this point

I bought the editions. They should have brought back EOD or added a container like gamma renamed it sold it like a skin for 30 bucks and had PVE for free for EOD and add it at like 70 bucks for others.
How about they sell severs like days and let people mod and finish the game themselves
I only hope, for the love of God, that GZW doesn't try and release to fill the gap. They still need to do work and I hope that they just go "let's do it right and release when when got things ready" rather that "aight, fuck it, let's go now and try make hay while the sun is shining".
If they had the server space a $10-$20 early playtest access would be gold. Strike the iron while it's hot. Low stake entry fee. You'll have dummies not understanding how early in development it is but it would give ALOT of people an outlet to walk off tarkov.

I bought EOD for 3 people back in 2017 (as I play many beta/early access games to support development), I have 1000's of hours. This really isn't about the money, my youngest son is as old as this beta. Today I have been shown the escape from tarkov.
I understand needing money, but the lack of care for their early supporters is concerning at best

The Tarkov community is so brain dead half of them will still buy the new version. Literally half the streamers bought it and defend it. Plus half the people I ran into today already have the new version. Bsg knows that half the people are dumb enough to buy it which will give them tons of money and won’t care that the other half complain.
The thing is. They could actually get lawsuits for this as this is (maybe i am not a lawyer) illegal in many countries especially the uk.

Today i've died 5 times, 3 of them had blue nicknames (they bought the last edition, i think.) So i think "most" of their playerbase will buy whatever they think will get them an advantage.

Nah, only reason ppl won't stop yet is again because this is currently the only realistic fps extract looter game. We have 2 new ones coming out within a month or so. When there are no other options your stuck with shit but when more options come out you have a choice, support someone who thinks little of you and only wants your money or play a game that actually takes players into account

I have 4,500 hours in. Been playing since 2018. Can't seem to bring myself to load the game. I have never been this disappointed in a hobby in my life as a customer....
It's not even just the pay to win thing, there are so many big bugs that hold people back from progressing in the game.
I have this bug with two tasks that are required for the Kappa quest and they are marked as “failed” but I can't restart them. When I reported this bug I only got a “you have to wait until the bug is fixed” wtf but take another 120€ for some loot and pay2win

SheefGG I am a big fan of your content and you have become my favorite streamer but more than anything I love your community. They are amazing and supportive. If you go to another game even one I don’t find entertaining I will still support you because I don’t want your impact to go away.

i think the only dev/games still making those special edition games with physical items is from Asia game dev like sq japan and fromsoftware for thier ac 6.
On top of this, you loose your EOD status, if you upgrade you loose your dedication to the game.

I feel like a "starter edition" for like $20 that was PvE Coop would have been a better approach. Affordable for most people, get new players into the game, and make some money. All of the other editions should have Coop included. They should support their decision from years ago that EOD will get access to all DLC.

Kinda crazy you dont have access to ETS with how many hours you have, I applied for it when I had like 1k hours and got access almost instantly.
I remember backing it waaay back in the day when I ideally had the time. Never actually got around to playing it due to the time sink and eventually just being older with more responsibility. Kinda sad to see it go this path. Glad I at least had the Dayz mod era to fill that void before this one. Those servers were wild.
A lot of BSG's short comings was almost like it was becoming part of the charm of the game. Their janky streams and fumbling management relates to the clunkiness of the game itself. But this is just a sh!t sandwich.
I was sooooo ready to talk my brother into playing with me on the PVE multiplayer. The could have gotten more sales. Until I saw the price tag. Total slap in the face
I thought 39€ for „no rest for the wicked“ early access is expensive but bsg tops it. 250€ for a beta with no release 1.0 in sight.
Even if BSG somehow comes out of this, no amount of an apology will restore the loyalty they lost. This is probably the biggest thing BSG lost today, their loyal player base, that have stuck with them through tough times. Now all of that is gone and will be for the foreseeable future.

EOD should be upgraded to the new version. Then from then on the unheard is the new EOD
BSG managed to head eyes themselves.
I applied for the test servers and got declined. I have EOD been playing off and on for three years and I have 2.1k hrs
After this Edition, you don't have to pay for PVE mode, nobody gon play the game anymore anyway
The Unheard Edition also comes with a maid to clean Asmon’s house.
I don't know how they think it won't end badly when they're basically retconning what we already bought and paid for.

Everyone bought $150 game because all this future stuff was supposed to be included. The change in wording is subject to a class action lawsuit since that is not legal to do. That call in the friends has been stated it is in the PVP mode
