One of the most fun things ive tried in a long while is sniping with the VSS, no one ever knows where its coming from and its really cool in an urban setting like on reserve, done it a ton and killed some full squads. Would recommend
VSS needs to be modded to be actually good and doing so is expensive af, bullet cost aside - better of with a 7.62x39 caliber build for way more stopping power and far cheaper. Not to mention you'll be shooting 9x39mm SP-6 gs likely which is currently 2k a bullet - and yes you MOW through bullets just look at the fire rate, so unless you farm rubles all day for kits or money is no object or its the very end of the wipe don't bother - it's a ridiculously uneconomical kit.

On customs you have a really nice angle from the office windows in big red towards the RUAF roadblock where you can easily see if someone is running about, be it scavs or PMC's. The range is approx 200 meters and with that elevation set on your scope, you get some pretty spot on hits aiming for the center mass. In addition to the offices windows there is a pretty neat vantage point at the beginning of the bridge from big red in the grass which gives a nice overwatch as well. Although a bit more riscy since others tends to pass there more frequently. Nice gameplay and utilization of concealment, like it should be.
I thought about specific spots a bit but I generally just don't sit still much in Tarkov unless a fight is nearby, so my goal was to still be traversing the map like normal but adapting to how I approach and find fights. I agree that's a sweet spot to snipe across though. o7

How to be a better sniper - Just hit the shots - Get good

You are the reason I always carry smoke grenades.

Great video and great tips that will transfer to other games i play too, thank you new sub acquired
Tarkov needs a ghillie suit.
On a second note. A game entirely focused around hyper realistic sniper combat would be amazing., I.E. taking from what's taught in real sniper school.
