Enjoyed, that looks like a very interesting walk, I liked the rare , I think ,Fordson crawler, Was it 4 cylinder petrol/ Kero , or 6 cylinder P6 Diesel, Cheers 🤠❤️🇦🇺
You should totally do it if you're over this way, no bears or snakes to worry about!, We were lucky with the weather though, would have been awful if it had rained the whole time.
That was when we were gonna go! Still haven't decided what we're doing yet. I think Canada still requires us to self-isolate. We'll make a decision last minute as per usual.
Hi. Looks like a great walk. Thanks for sharing your adventure. Where did you leave your van? Did the shuttle service provide a secure place to park your van? Thanks.
We left our van with the timber trail shuttles, they have secure parking there. And they picked us up at the end of the hike too. It's a great walk (or cycle). They also rent our bikes and PLBs.
Great effort! Thanks for sharing all the great information. The trees looked amazing.
Thanks guys, it was such a neat walk.
Great effort team. Thanks for showing us the hut, I’ve been to the summit a few times and the centre of nth island is not far away.
Thanks Dave. We wanted to walk to the summit, but would've made it too late getting to camp. Maybe we'll go back and do it one day.

Thanks Bevan, It was an interesting walk, and I think the highlight was the tractor. Not something you'd expect to see in the middle of the bush.
you are an inspiration to hiking
Thanks guys!
That looks like such an awesome adventure! It's way out of my comfort zone, but I want to do it!

@@NomadLifeKiwi I’m from Vancouver … it always rains here 😜
@@TheWayneReport I know! We've been watching a few vlogs around the area as we're thinking of going there, and it always seems to be raining!
@@NomadLifeKiwi yeah. That happens. 😜. June/July can be hit or miss… august is usually pretty good. Don’t let the rain put a damper on your fun

Mike's is a 65L Osprey (Stratus I think) and mine is a 38L Kathmandu Valorous.
@@NomadLifeKiwi Awesome thankyou :)
@@wissbaa you’re welcome. Are you going to do the walk?
@@NomadLifeKiwi Absolutely a combo of walking and bike, plus towing a bike trailer. :)
Should have done my research first , It's a 2 ton cat crawler, 😀
