- Here's the follow-up from my last video with Toby's post-op healing.
I think the overdub dates are a bit out of whack - sorry (just back from holibobs), so the first part of the video is one-week post-op then still pics are from weeks 2, 3, 4 and 5. Sorry (I can only count to 21 if I'm naked; maths is NOT my forte!).
He's doing great as you see. Looking good for the long term.

Thank you for letting us see how quickly his foot healed.
Slower than the average because of the depth

I would like to host you, I am Mersin Mediterranean Mersin
@@emrahdurak2316 you already had surgery??
I had a very bad one once, and a fly somehow got under the dressing, and I got the chance to have some au natural maggot therapy. Ooh, that was gross!
Bet it worked tho
@@IanReillyPodsurgeon It did, but the sensations... feeling something moving inside you is a bit odd, to say the least.
Anyway, love your vids, wish I was a surgeon. It looks cool.
@@andrewhall7176 best job ever. Ty
@@IanReillyPodsurgeon I bet.
Hi. dr. Usually how long will it take for plantar wart to heal post excision if no wound closure involve?
3/4 weeks
@@IanReillyPodsurgeon would you recommend wound closure with suture for faster healing? As some patients need to go back to their work as quickly as possible.
@@thenomadicDR I like a primary closure if I can. it depends on the wound/size/location
@@IanReillyPodsurgeon did you use any tourniquet to reduce bleeding during excision?
@@thenomadicDR I do if i do the case in theatre, so for flaps - yes. Not here tho
