Job was one of the best, most unique characters in TV history. I'll always hope against hope for some kind of Banshee sequel. There's so much potential for so many more amazing stories.
I’m pretty sure just about 99% of banshee fans would. Job was one of the best characters on the show. I also think a spin off that was a season or two of Kia and his descent in to crime would be really neat.
You know what? Color me impressed, this is unique spin on the revenge story Job didn’t kill him, but boy did he make his life a living hell. Great scene, great character, just a damn good show. 10/10
This series was so addicting. Someone really needs to make a Banshee related channel that shows all the clips of the entire series. Like Borko, Vic Mackey, etc.
I always found it ironic how the most iconic characters, Job and Burton, are actually Theatre Graduates from Harvard University. Both Hoon Lee and Michael Rauch have extensive theatre experience, particularly in Shakespearean plays like Hamlet, Titus Andronicus and The Merchant of Venice to name a few.
@@Studentofgosset I meant that when you watch Job: the costume, the mannerisms, the accent; you wouldn't think that the actor portraying them had such extensive theatre experience. Hoon Lee has major leading man credits; you would never think that he would play a character like this. Michael Rauch is a Shakespearean actor and yet he says very little through out the entire series. What actor wants to play someone who is for the most part mute. But, because of that acting experience they bring so much to the character with the tilt of the head, adjusting the bow tie, the cock of the hip. These roles can either go so right or so wrong and it depends on the actor who portrays them. Banshee is so theatrical, it builds a world and vocabulary like Deadwood. If Shakespeare and Dumas' literary works had a love child, this would be it.
This is what I remember by heart! "Hmm. What do I want? I want a steak, fries and a diet coke. I want the entire Jean-Paul Gautier Fall collection. Oh! And I want $750,000 for my blown-up business."
"You can't do this to me!" I fucking LIVE for Job. His little smirk and tilt of his head like he's saying," oh honey, I just did. Ahah!" And the walk off 😂😂
3:22 JOB is the best character in any series, no other character can say lines like that with so little effort just imagine being able to put "i just did bitch, and another thing fuck you" into one look
Hon Lee did an amazing job acting this role. Every time Job is a badass it either made me laugh or smile. By far the funniest character in an otherwise very serious show. And yeah, this was one of the most satisfying scenes ever to watch.
that is what revenge is all about like karma what goes around comes around something i would done in high school but im a better person today than i once was :)
@@dwightlove3704 With those Swiss Francs it's a little closer to 33 million. Money can't buy happiness, but it sure does help. Especially when you leave the asshole who fucked you holding the bag for all of your bullshit.
I think Job is/ should be what every LGBTQ-whatever character should be based off of and act. Yes he’s obv a drag queen along with feminine but not one time in the entire show did they ever mention his sexuality. At one point he’s literally in drag singing a song before kicking some hecklers ass just showing he’s not just another “gay/queer” character, he is up there with one of the most bad ass character written and put in cinema
So is it Job or Jobe? 🤷♀️ I thought Job, of course I have been working multiple jobs for year and have only recently discovered this awesome show, so i’m playing catch-up. The reason i ask is because I thought the other guy said Jobe when he was yelling at him.🤔
So I am an agent of chaos and started watching this series from season 4, skipping all the previous seasons. So I am correctly deduced that this character was like this before, and this is not just a result of trauma from being tortured 2 years in captivity, he didn't develop an alter ego to cope with the trauma. I deduced this by observing the reactions of every character that knew him from before, if this was something extraordinary for him, or a change, there would have been various sets of reactions, yet there weren't, they all acted as they would act towards a guy that was always like this and knew him from before.
What job did to him was far worse than killing him. The same kind of people that tortured Job will come after him. Job never gave anyone up after 20 months of severe torture. This guy couldn't handle 5 minutes of job went thru tho.
Job deserves his own spin off show! Such a brilliant character
I'd watch, in a heartbeat
Or HOOD X JOB IN NYC
"bitch I just made your punk ass famous"
Hoon lee is criminally underrated

MadMaxx yeah mate me too, I have watched the whole series 3 times and every one I have shown it to just loves it . Cheers 🍻
yah bring the show back! it has a huge fan base now
Nah, show ended perfectly and there's no need to furthur extrapolate it. People don't know when to end things when they're still great lol.
Was hoping for a better back ground on hood or whomever he actually was apart from he was military special ops
You nailed it.

Pritam Debnath hi mate it’s the best show ever 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The best show 4ever
Got that right!!!
It really is…..no one knows about it
Lets get the critical drinker to recommend it .....
If Cinemax made a Series based on Job
How many would watch it ? I would
Part of me thinks it wouldn't work, it was like friends doing a Joey spin off. I think you need other characters to not overdo it
Me to
I only regret he wasn't awarded for that role
I would definitely watch it, religiously.. 🙏🏼

Man I love Job! He made that show unique.
Aries WildChild you're talking about his appearance or his skills lol.
both are legendary
Hoon Lee was great
@Bill The Bull Gates You say you don't have a problem with people who dress or think a certain way but you still call them trannies? GTFO.
Even I find him very funny, talented and makes this show more interesting👍
"you wanted to fuck with the best, well, now you are the best"

that guy is one great actor; how he transforms himself into Job is mind blowing.

take it a step further, either the gun was unloaded, or he left him with one bullet to self delete before all the people made a Job find him...
He killed him, it just wasn't right away.

And “Oh not you Snookie” and “For that, I’m going to name you Marion”
Hahhaha what about the fuck you on all the cows and pointing at them its was hilarious

Been in love with this show and Job for 5 years now i think...lol even have a tattoo of him ! Underrated show
By far one of my favorite and one of the best scenes of the entire series
Joe made the show...I think him and the bartender should get a series of their own making him the best hacker and the bartender his sidekick
Job is now a main character on Warrior! He's awesome again!!!
Greatest action show ever made
One of the best played characters in television history !! 👍👍😎😎😎
I want... the whole Jon Paul gaultier collection. Job is the man.
