- We attended the first dress rehearsal for Semi-Final 1 at Eurovision 2023 inside M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

Loreens performance with the smaller LED screens looked like an upgrade. It was WOW. It was more of a live performance instaed of a "video" with the bigger screens. It was great. Swede here so I am of course biased but that is how I felt.

Actually historically Finland has always always been the underdog and many times not even qualifying from the semis. So we would also appreciate support this year which is the first time in decades we have had this type of chance (Loordi has been the only time we have won in 2006 and they weren't liked pre-eurovision nowhere near as much as Käärijä and we've been competing since basically the beginning of Eurovision not been noticed).

I'm about to drop a bomb: Malta is qualifying instead of Czechia
I would be worried about Czechia based on the preparties, but now, when 3 of them based on what they see put Czechia into their TOP3, I'm sure they are pretty safe ... also coming near the end will keep impact before voting. Czechia is sure qualifier now, probably even TOP5 in that semi. I would like Malta funky fun to join final as well anyway.
Absolutely no way. Malta always struggles with the televote and that song is weak af. In no universe would this qualify. And Czechia is getting tons of votes from those millions of Ukrainians living all over Europe now, plus Slavic countries in general, plus eurofans who loved the song since the release. Czechia is a safe Top6 in this semifinal.
