too bad he's not around to direct the choreography coz I highly doubt the fight scenes in this adaptation will be as rhythmic as Vol. 1 that or Dilongoo takes the helm but he has better things to do.

Calling it now! First 3 episodes will be a straight adaptation, and then bam, we’re heading into the Mirror Universe for AU shenanigans with Weiss wanting to be the leader as a Nexus point in the timeline!
Man this is awesome! The first couple of RWBY volumes definitely look rough and deserve a remake, and this way it won't take away from RT ressources. Thank you to everyone involved 🙏
I don't think RT would want to touch the earlier volumes themselves anyway, since most of it was Monty's handiwork. But this kind of "remake" serves as a great homage to his work on those volumes!
@@TheArsenalRisen There was very strong internal resistance to any kind of remake of the early stuff. This seems like a fantastic alternative. Especially if the story really does end up diverging.
That depends on how it turns out. This might be the end of the main rwby series. IE its cheaper to farm it out to japan. I wonder if they will care enough to get the original VA's for the dub?

Japan is actually using the original VA who dub RWBY back in Volume one. And those VA are A LOT more famous and expensive compare to when they voiced for RWBY back then. Japan Studio seems to care more about RWBY then RT at this point.

開始当時から見てた身かするとまさかここまでメディアミックスされるとは思いもしなかったな..本当に嬉しいしこれを機に日本でももっと知名度伸びて欲しいな

RWBYすごく好きで久々に色々動画見てたらこのPVを発見しびっくりしました。
嬉しいし、制作陣も豪華で声優も吹き替えと変わらずで安心しましたが、戦闘シーンは原作がほんとに素敵なのでアニメがあの原作の思わず見入ってしまうような魅力を再現出来るのかがちょっと心配です。
でもこれで日本でもRWBYを知る人が格段に増えると思うので、素直にお祝いしたいですね。
去年、Volume 5～8の吹き替え版が出た時も驚いたし凄く嬉しかったけど、まさか日本でRWBYのアニメが作られる日がくるなんて思いもしなかった！

原作のコミカルでテンポの良いやりとりと、深くて丁寧なキャラクター表現がうまく反映されてるといいですよね。原作が素晴らしいからハードル高くなっちゃいますね。

えっ！？本家海外制作じゃなく日本制作？で第一シーズンをテレビ放送するの３、4年前に本家版で日本語吹き替えのシーズン１～３放送してたけどキャストも当時の日本語吹き替えキャスト陣だ当時RWBYが日本語吹き替え版のキャスト陣がめちゃくちゃ豪華過ぎるのが衝撃でした
ワイスがミルテンアスターで魔方陣を展開するシーンと、血を流してるシーンは英語版の「white trailer」の再現か。
