Open the terminal and execute the following commands :
1. Update the package information :
sudo apt update
2. Install dkms and git :
sudo apt install dkms git
3. Install Build Dependencies :
sudo apt install build-essential libelf-dev linux-headers-$(uname -r)
4. Download the Driver files using git :
git clone github.com/air...
5. Navigate to the Downloaded directory :
cd rtl8812au
6. Install the Driver
sudo make dkms_install
if the installation is aborted , execute this command '''sudo dkms remove 8812au/5.6.4.2_35491.20191025 --all''' , if errors pop up '''Usage: remove / --all'''

I have same issue. wlan 0 is at monitor mode but airodump-ng cannot detect any SSID

pls help !!! I'm using the same wifi adapter but it is giving a internet speed of 30-40 mbps while my laptop's integrated adapter is giving 80mbps and also the number of wifi access points shown through this external adapter are more or less similar to the number of wifi access points shown through my laptop's adapter however the strength of the signals is a bit higher through the external adapter

That's why I have explained in the video how UA-camr is making the video say that it works on Linux but despite my best efforts it did not work on Linux, after installing a software driver, only Wi-Fi is shown. It is not the actual Wi-Fi, it is the interface of the software.
