And in all honesty base outis is an amazing bench warmer for sinking teams too when you know you got a lot of enemies with sanity. +30% damage against enemies with less than zero sanity is nothing to sneeze at
Honestly, benching butler outis can also work, because if you have a decent enough sinking team, that conditional on her passive becomes really easy to achieve

Side note: Mariachi sinclair is design as an old system tank. Meaning, he will DOGE every turn until you outslot the enemy, then he will do one side attack for the rest of the fight, applying sinking and using skill 3 for big damage when he gets it.

Sinking has been my favorite playstyle since I started playing earlier this year. With some gacha luck and farming I was able to get almost every piece except Rime Shank Rodion and Dieci HL. I already got some powerful IDs for Poise/Burn/Tremor/Bleed/Rupture teams but Sinking remains my favorite by far. I enjoyed so much your video, it really has some incredible dedication, here's my sub!
It's good to see more guide content from ya, mate. Your LoR Status guides majorly helped me out in my playthrough, and got me interested in proper team building in the first place! This one more or less explains what I already know, but it's nice to now have all the info in one place to review as needed.
Something I'll bring up is that the normal Bygone Days Yi Sang has an interesting interaction with Echoes of the Manor where it can randomly give a target a massive amount of count. Why it works like this is beyond me. (My working theory is that each potency it inflicts can proc that 50/50) Nonetheless it's funny and somewhat useful.

Yeah, hell, i even ran captain ishmael with a sinking teams and It Works Fine in rr3, but as a 00, she is pretty solid, tô The point i would put her in a MID B in a tierlist
Butler ish isnt as good as the others but the animations and dopamine from critting, plus her not being bad for sinking makes her the best imo. Also means you can have middle meursalt in backline to feed lincoln park gregor's addiction to roller coaster sanity for free.
Obviously he wasn’t out when this was released but I’ve been using an admittedly very scuffed sinking setup (I’m still fresh and trying to get good stuff before I specialize into anything) with Wild Hunt Heathcliff and he’s been doing great. I don’t think I have to recommend him because he’s clearly insanely popular as he deserves to be.
Pro tip: Rags works just as well for him as for sunshower, and since he's already good it makes him absolutely cracked. He jumps down to the perfect sp for s4, and since counter turns into it that means you can essentially spam it every other turn if you want. Add sp support to taste and he'll just bounce between 40 and -15 and deal MASSIVE extra damage as a reward for totally ignoring his gimmick. I've been running like solemn Sang, wh heath, butler ish, g outis, and zwei gregor with solemn ego in MD (plus gebryo but she's not important) with butler faust acting as support for the sp heal during solemn ego. Ofc once I have molar ish, heir gregor, dieci Rodion, and rime shank, this will be a lot better, but for now I'm having fun with it

Distant Stars effect sound kinda similar with molar outis. I think that one also count as suncliff personal ego gift which would give him more sinking potency on himself in turn 3
I would like to point out that grandeur should NOT be taken first. This is because you can’t get the MFE event from event nodes while you own it, thus you can’t get grandeur for free alongside bloody gadget (which is a very solid gift for all teams) for taking the fight option which with a sinking team isn’t hard to beat. Ultimately due to way fusing gifts works now, having more of them is also a bonus as you can trade up to higher tier sinking gifts, I personally like to trade in red order or spring alongside whatever else I’ve picked up on the first floor if frozen cries isn’t a reward for completing the floor, in hopes of getting it there. Then you just have to hope that the factory is a choice next and that it either gives the shoes as a clear reward, or use your starting cost to search the shop for it
Ehh idk MFE isnt, a really fun fight Also you are insane if you say that to Ardent Flower aswell because my god no one should suffer fighting Ardor Blossom Moth
The event node boss fights are far easier than if you were to fight them as actual bosses. MFE is free if you run sinking as gloom damage bypasses his 10 protection Also ABM may be a pain to fight… but again it’s generally easier as an event node. Literally the only boss that you shouldn’t always fight is Gossypium as you might have to go a whole floor with white gossypium removing staggers. If you think your team isn’t up for certain bosses then just skip it, but for teams like tremor they shouldn’t start with Sour Liquor Aroma as it removes Fairy Gentlemen from the event pool thus not allowing you to get 2 free tremor gifts
Base yi sang should* only bring in boss like ahab or boss with sanity to be actually viable as least with his kit,his terrible clashing mean if boss have 6 skill slot for sinner to clash with them all,he need someone else to take addition skill slot of the boss attack so he can hit the enemy without clash. For maid ish,she may be not the best sinking for the sinking team stacking effect,she can be a consistent clasher plus bind on enemy,making her a nice simple support id,and her skill 3 can give you 1 count so she not a completely count eater.

Want a rundown on burn, right now, without an extensive 28 minute video? well, here: Burn teams typically consist of three liu units, a mentally unstable Sinclair, Outis with a gun, and potentially NFaust if you like 16 rolling skill 2's that much. Here's the recommended "strongest" composition, and I'll mention some alternatives in case you don't have access to something: COMBAT IDS: -Liu Ishmael with Ardor Blossom Star: Liu Ishmael is the core of any good burn team. Although she's not the highest damage character, or the most explosive, she makes up for it with high consistency in all aspects, and a variety of ego which range from nice to have (Capote and Pink Ribbons), to basically essential (Blind Obsession and ESPECIALLY Ardor Blossom Star.) -Lobotomy Corp Magic Bullet Outis: One of two very important Walpurgisnacht IDs for burn, and currently the only thing making it competitive with other status effects. Her unique status, Dark Flame, does Burn Potency x Dark Flame count as pride damage, making her have the highest raw damage potential of any burn unit currently available. She also has high clashing, and AOE attacks. As for EGO, it's recommended you have Holiday, but no EGO are absolutely essential for her. -Phillipclair: The other Walpurgisnacht ID. He's weird, in that although he doesn't serve any specific function on a burn team, his raw damage, count/potency application, clashing and aoe attacks make his so strong he's hard to justify not recommending. Note that since he has a sanity based mechanic, you'll want lots of support for that. Luckily burn teams are uniquely positioned to gain tons of sanity at a time, so this isn't a problem. No EGO are necessary for him to work just fine. -Liu Rodion: Liu Rodion is basically just here for the attack power up to burn/liu units, and her version of the ego 4th Match Flame. She's strong, has similar numbers to Ishmael, and does lots of pierce damage, which used to be a rarity on burn teams (and still is, to a lesser degree), and helps a lot with resonance, but she's got lower damage than Ishmael, so the extent of her usefulness is about the same. FMF Rodion however is a god-send. It applies wrath fragility, and a lot of it- which is great, since almost all of the strongest skills and ego on a burn team are wrath. She's also cute, so that counts for something. -Liu Meursault/Liu Ryoshu: This one's a toss up, really. Do you want utility in your ego and sloth skills? Use Meursault. Want higher clashing? Use Ryoshu. I recommend Meursault, because Capote is a really powerful EGO. They're the best spare burn units, and you can even double up on them if you're missing one or more of the other recommendations. -NFaust: Fun fact, NFaust applies a net total of absolutely ZERO burn. So why is she here? Well, for one Fluid Sac is the best healing/sanity gain EGO in the game, so any Faust ID has a niche on any team, but secondly, NFaust has all the tools to support a burn team well. She has a unique form of fragile in Gaze, a debuff which makes enemies receive 20% additional damage from blunt and pierce attacks (A burn teams most common damage types). She has a passive which gives out tons of sanity, which burn teams (because of Burn's heavy reliance on EGO usage), and especially Phillipclair (and the other one we'll talk about in a second...) really benefit from. She's also just good, since she has a high rolling evade, and a high clashing skill 2. SUPPORT PASSIVES: -Liu Hong Lu: He gives the highest sanity unit extra burn count application. Mildly important. He's not good enough to go on the actual team anyways. -LCB Yi Sang: Helps units with sanity loss by negating ten sp lost for one unit a turn. More useful than you'd think, but don't put on the bench if you're using Nclair. (I didn't talk about him, we'll get to him, I swear.) The rest is free real estate. OKAY, TIME TO TALK ABOUT NCLAIR: Nclair is the previous king of Sinclair identities with ungodly damage who drain tons of sanity and require additional management. He's the reason NFaust got added to burn teams in the first place, literally just to keep him in check sanity wise. Now, he's really strong, he contributes to burn, he can't roll lower than like, 12 on his skill two, but don't let that distract you from the fact that he WILL kill your Outis if he corrodes, which he's liable to do since he's a Negative Coin ID. When bringing Nclair, you HAVE to bring 9:2, an EGO which helps him out of a pickle if his sanity rises too high. Your reward for proper management and handling of the silly crusader dude is ridiculous damage, and high clashing, as well as a four coin s2 that inflicts lots of burn. Although Phillipclair IS optimal for burn, if it's not Walpurgisnacht, you just can't get him. So Nclair will do otherwise. WALPURGISNACHT REPLACEMENT TEAM (IN CASE ITS NOT THE FUNNY GREEN TIME): -Liu Ish -Liu Rodion -Liu Meursault -Nclair -NFaust -Liu Ryoshu There you go. That's burn. Now, for some parting tips on how to actually play: -Wrath is your friend: When you see wrath skills, line them up as much as possible. Many of a burn team's effects only work with lots of wrath, and many high damage skills gain MORE damage with high amounts of Wrath Res. -Ego Usage is key: Most of your ego should be used once at the start of the fight, and some should be used sparingly after. For example: going into a hard bossfight, you should use Ardor Blossom Star and Regret on Ishmael and Meursault respectively, to gain the support passives- but you should be using Fourth Match Flame Rodion the turn BEFORE a big wrath skill dump, which should be chosen at your discretion instead. Understanding EGO is the best way to get more value out of your team. -Outis needs to be managed, not win-rated: Magic Bullet Outis is the core of your damage potential, so treat her like that's the case. Pay attention to when you're applying Dark Flame, making sure to build lots of bullets for more potent flames. Make sure you know how her gimmick works. -Burn stacks: Burn works on individual parts, so if an Abnormality has two or more parts, you can get two or more burn stacks going. That means your potential DPS rises from, say, 99, to double, then triple, and so on and so forth, the more body parts an enemy has. Remember this also applies for Outis' Dark Flame, so her AOE becomes invaluable for higher and higher DPS totals. And that's it. That's the burn guide. I could go through mirror dungeon, but that's lame, all you need to know is Dust to Dust and Ashes to Ashes combine to make Soothe The Dead, the burn fusion gift which gives you tons of clash power. You're welcome.

I am more of a tremor kind of guy, so dont usaully do depression plague Yet, when use in railwaya aginst the Moth ingot a turn 5 before i knew what happened: (Bush yi sang, faust, moral ish, rodyon, and heathclif, yes, i use heath cliff, is free ego spam/tank with centipid ego) Basicly i stacked count on both parts, then turn 5 used corroded chiken feet followed by deluge in the chain. Deluge did 1.255 damage, literally oneshoting the boss for watever remain of its health.

You should not replace your two best EGO users, instead replace the Wuthering Heights Butlers since they have no Sinking EGO and Fluid Sac is a crutch (and probably no longer needed once Bygone Days Ishmael comes out)
The Butler Faust hate is crazy, she's on par with if not better than Butler Outis. Count positive on S2 and S3 with great potency application from her passive. Basically everyone I've talked to who has played sinking for while thinks she's a crucial member of the team. Bringing up people like Dieci Yi Sang and Base Yi Sang (two units ive NEVER seen used) before her is beyond the pale.
I didn't say butler faust was bad, I brought her up in the "other recommended IDs" section, which I went through in order of sinner I talked about all the Yi Sang IDs at once because they're all Yi Sang IDs. Nowhere did I say that I valued them above butler faust.

This is because you can’t get the MFE event from event nodes while you own it, thus you can’t get grandeur for free alongside bloody gadget (which is a very solid gift for all teams) for taking the fight option which with a sinking team isn’t hard to beat.
Ultimately due to way fusing gifts works now, having more of them is also a bonus as you can trade up to higher tier sinking gifts, I personally like to trade in red order or spring alongside whatever else I’ve picked up on the first floor if frozen cries isn’t a reward for completing the floor, in hopes of getting it there. Then you just have to hope that the factory is a choice next and that it either gives the shoes as a clear reward, or use your starting cost to search the shop for it

The event node boss fights are far easier than if you were to fight them as actual bosses. MFE is free if you run sinking as gloom damage bypasses his 10 protection
Also ABM may be a pain to fight… but again it’s generally easier as an event node. Literally the only boss that you shouldn’t always fight is Gossypium as you might have to go a whole floor with white gossypium removing staggers. If you think your team isn’t up for certain bosses then just skip it, but for teams like tremor they shouldn’t start with Sour Liquor Aroma as it removes Fairy Gentlemen from the event pool thus not allowing you to get 2 free tremor gifts

Base yi sang should* only bring in boss like ahab or boss with sanity to be actually viable as least with his kit,his terrible clashing mean if boss have 6 skill slot for sinner to clash with them all,he need someone else to take addition skill slot of the boss attack so he can hit the enemy without clash.
For maid ish,she may be not the best sinking for the sinking team stacking effect,she can be a consistent clasher plus bind on enemy,making her a nice simple support id,and her skill 3 can give you 1 count so she not a completely count eater.
But you can use his bygone days to get better clashing

Want a rundown on burn, right now, without an extensive 28 minute video? well, here:
Burn teams typically consist of three liu units, a mentally unstable Sinclair, Outis with a gun, and potentially NFaust if you like 16 rolling skill 2's that much. Here's the recommended "strongest" composition, and I'll mention some alternatives in case you don't have access to something:
COMBAT IDS:
-Liu Ishmael with Ardor Blossom Star: Liu Ishmael is the core of any good burn team. Although she's not the highest damage character, or the most explosive, she makes up for it with high consistency in all aspects, and a variety of ego which range from nice to have (Capote and Pink Ribbons), to basically essential (Blind Obsession and ESPECIALLY Ardor Blossom Star.)
-Lobotomy Corp Magic Bullet Outis: One of two very important Walpurgisnacht IDs for burn, and currently the only thing making it competitive with other status effects. Her unique status, Dark Flame, does Burn Potency x Dark Flame count as pride damage, making her have the highest raw damage potential of any burn unit currently available. She also has high clashing, and AOE attacks. As for EGO, it's recommended you have Holiday, but no EGO are absolutely essential for her.
-Phillipclair: The other Walpurgisnacht ID. He's weird, in that although he doesn't serve any specific function on a burn team, his raw damage, count/potency application, clashing and aoe attacks make his so strong he's hard to justify not recommending. Note that since he has a sanity based mechanic, you'll want lots of support for that. Luckily burn teams are uniquely positioned to gain tons of sanity at a time, so this isn't a problem. No EGO are necessary for him to work just fine.
-Liu Rodion: Liu Rodion is basically just here for the attack power up to burn/liu units, and her version of the ego 4th Match Flame. She's strong, has similar numbers to Ishmael, and does lots of pierce damage, which used to be a rarity on burn teams (and still is, to a lesser degree), and helps a lot with resonance, but she's got lower damage than Ishmael, so the extent of her usefulness is about the same. FMF Rodion however is a god-send. It applies wrath fragility, and a lot of it- which is great, since almost all of the strongest skills and ego on a burn team are wrath. She's also cute, so that counts for something.
-Liu Meursault/Liu Ryoshu: This one's a toss up, really. Do you want utility in your ego and sloth skills? Use Meursault. Want higher clashing? Use Ryoshu. I recommend Meursault, because Capote is a really powerful EGO. They're the best spare burn units, and you can even double up on them if you're missing one or more of the other recommendations.
-NFaust: Fun fact, NFaust applies a net total of absolutely ZERO burn. So why is she here? Well, for one Fluid Sac is the best healing/sanity gain EGO in the game, so any Faust ID has a niche on any team, but secondly, NFaust has all the tools to support a burn team well. She has a unique form of fragile in Gaze, a debuff which makes enemies receive 20% additional damage from blunt and pierce attacks (A burn teams most common damage types). She has a passive which gives out tons of sanity, which burn teams (because of Burn's heavy reliance on EGO usage), and especially Phillipclair (and the other one we'll talk about in a second...) really benefit from. She's also just good, since she has a high rolling evade, and a high clashing skill 2.
SUPPORT PASSIVES:
-Liu Hong Lu: He gives the highest sanity unit extra burn count application. Mildly important. He's not good enough to go on the actual team anyways.
-LCB Yi Sang: Helps units with sanity loss by negating ten sp lost for one unit a turn. More useful than you'd think, but don't put on the bench if you're using Nclair. (I didn't talk about him, we'll get to him, I swear.)
The rest is free real estate.
OKAY, TIME TO TALK ABOUT NCLAIR:
Nclair is the previous king of Sinclair identities with ungodly damage who drain tons of sanity and require additional management. He's the reason NFaust got added to burn teams in the first place, literally just to keep him in check sanity wise. Now, he's really strong, he contributes to burn, he can't roll lower than like, 12 on his skill two, but don't let that distract you from the fact that he WILL kill your Outis if he corrodes, which he's liable to do since he's a Negative Coin ID. When bringing Nclair, you HAVE to bring 9:2, an EGO which helps him out of a pickle if his sanity rises too high.
Your reward for proper management and handling of the silly crusader dude is ridiculous damage, and high clashing, as well as a four coin s2 that inflicts lots of burn.
Although Phillipclair IS optimal for burn, if it's not Walpurgisnacht, you just can't get him. So Nclair will do otherwise.
WALPURGISNACHT REPLACEMENT TEAM (IN CASE ITS NOT THE FUNNY GREEN TIME):
-Liu Ish
-Liu Rodion
-Liu Meursault
-Nclair
-NFaust
-Liu Ryoshu
There you go. That's burn. Now, for some parting tips on how to actually play:
-Wrath is your friend: When you see wrath skills, line them up as much as possible. Many of a burn team's effects only work with lots of wrath, and many high damage skills gain MORE damage with high amounts of Wrath Res.
-Ego Usage is key: Most of your ego should be used once at the start of the fight, and some should be used sparingly after. For example: going into a hard bossfight, you should use Ardor Blossom Star and Regret on Ishmael and Meursault respectively, to gain the support passives- but you should be using Fourth Match Flame Rodion the turn BEFORE a big wrath skill dump, which should be chosen at your discretion instead. Understanding EGO is the best way to get more value out of your team.
-Outis needs to be managed, not win-rated: Magic Bullet Outis is the core of your damage potential, so treat her like that's the case. Pay attention to when you're applying Dark Flame, making sure to build lots of bullets for more potent flames. Make sure you know how her gimmick works.
-Burn stacks: Burn works on individual parts, so if an Abnormality has two or more parts, you can get two or more burn stacks going. That means your potential DPS rises from, say, 99, to double, then triple, and so on and so forth, the more body parts an enemy has. Remember this also applies for Outis' Dark Flame, so her AOE becomes invaluable for higher and higher DPS totals.
And that's it. That's the burn guide. I could go through mirror dungeon, but that's lame, all you need to know is Dust to Dust and Ashes to Ashes combine to make Soothe The Dead, the burn fusion gift which gives you tons of clash power. You're welcome.

Yet, when use in railwaya aginst the Moth ingot a turn 5 before i knew what happened:
(Bush yi sang, faust, moral ish, rodyon, and heathclif, yes, i use heath cliff, is free ego spam/tank with centipid ego)
Basicly i stacked count on both parts, then turn 5 used corroded chiken feet followed by deluge in the chain.
Deluge did 1.255 damage, literally oneshoting the boss for watever remain of its health.

You should not replace your two best EGO users, instead replace the Wuthering Heights Butlers since they have no Sinking EGO and Fluid Sac is a crutch (and probably no longer needed once Bygone Days Ishmael comes out)

The Butler Faust hate is crazy, she's on par with if not better than Butler Outis. Count positive on S2 and S3 with great potency application from her passive. Basically everyone I've talked to who has played sinking for while thinks she's a crucial member of the team. Bringing up people like Dieci Yi Sang and Base Yi Sang (two units ive NEVER seen used) before her is beyond the pale.
I didn't say butler faust was bad, I brought her up in the "other recommended IDs" section, which I went through in order of sinner
I talked about all the Yi Sang IDs at once because they're all Yi Sang IDs. Nowhere did I say that I valued them above butler faust.
