I've always wished there was video footage to follow along with Miss Crawford's book My Way of Life... This is the closest thing there is to that.... Thank you for posting this ❤️🥰🤗👍
What made Joan Crawford amazing is she was self-taught, and she NEVER stopped learning until she got sick at the end of her life. She spoke eloquently and clearly, yet she didn’t sound pretentious (although some critics would say she was “high hat” because of her humble background). Unlike some of her contemporaries who adopted the transatlantic accent to sound posh, she still kept a slight Southwestern accent as she spoke. That, to me, made her more relatable.
A gem video for a fan of Joan Crawford! Listening to Joan speak with such ease and intelligence regarding all the work she took on; didn't know she travelled to such remote places; not only a glamorous star but a loved person world wide.
Always loved Joan Crawford and her great performances in all the films of hers I have seen. I have never seen this coverage before. Thoroughly enjoyed it and her lovely voice.
A wonderful video about Joan's trip to Africa and her love of the continent. The photos were great, some I've never seen before! Thank you for this lovely video! 💜
Joan was a fabulous actress! She was quite a lady and her voice was so lovely and feminine. She was strikingly beautiful in her youth and managed to stay quiet attractive in middle age too. I love the part about the bugs in her soup! I wouldn't have touched a drop of bug soup either! Lol. 🪲🪲🪲🪳🪳🪳🪰🪰🪰🐜🐜🐜🪱🪱🪱
@costernocht Louise learned to talk from a soda boy in a New York ice-cream shop. She hadn't been kicked out of the Algonquin and was hanging out with Barbara Bennett at the time. She was described as having a twang.
@@jeffpagan1517 Oh, I know Jeff. I read her book. But she came from a pretty cultured family. I think she mentioned the big house in Wichita had become unstable from the weight of all the books!
Joan ... intercontinentally fabulous! Thank you again, goldust.
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed. Love to learn about JC
I am so impressed by Miss Crawford's intelligence and Clarity when speaking. Her voice is so soft and sweet. Her husband was a very lucky man
I AGREE TIGER ONE! HER VOICE WAS SPARKLING AND PROVOCATIVE. JUST LOVELY.
Her Smile was so beautiful... She was a real Diamond on this planet.
Adrien, he truly helped make Joan who she was. Just an eye for iconic looks.

Her joi de vivre was integral to her sparkling sophistication! Thanks for this treat!!

I can see Sharon Stone and Sigourney Weaver portraying Joan Crawford.
I could also see actress EVA GREEN doing Ms Crawford justice
@@kathryneast6919 Yes a young Joan Crawford 😯😉
More of Crawford on the Pepsi Trail please.

She was one of the hardest working women ever.
Diction on point. It's hard to believe she was a poor hick from Kansas.
she was born in texas!
@goldduxt Even more unbelievable.
Louise Brooks was from Kansas and her diction was even more refined!

Joan looks so beautiful and she speaks so well.
I just wished that her husband Alfred Steele hadn't taken all of her money !!!
