Stunning watch. Probably the perfect 1 piece collection. I could never really get over how much that crown protrudes out or else it would’ve been purchased long ago. Great content as always 👍🏼

I have mine over two years now and I just love to look at it! The top grade 2824-2 works in cosc (+2sec/day) and it is not easy to get it off the wrist!

Nice. Tbh the dial is even glossier than it appears in photos.

Ive had this watch now for over a year, its fantastic. Never get tired looking at it.
I was close to buying the Explorer until i saw this and the choice was easy.
This watch is going to increase in value over time

My buddy is thinking of selling his, and I very much plan to buy it. It's a great watch.

Not clear how old the 556-I under review is; however those manufactured at least since 2019 (like mine) have the Sellita SW200-1 movement, essentially a clone of the ETA 2824-2 with near-identical specs and workhorse characteristics.

Thanks for your review. I've already got a Sinn 556. I think I will then go to 104~

I've already got a Sinn 104. Great watch. Now I think to go to 556 on bracelet H link.

I wonder one thing: this watch is very unique in the sense that it has all around exactly the same batons as indices. No bigger baton for 12 o clock. Does that make the watch look too sterile?

This is a great looking watch. I am kind of split between this and the Damasko DS30

I think ds30 is more bang for the buck considering it has a hardened case, however the issue with ds30 is that it doesn't have a bracelet

I’ve looked at Damasko, and there is a lot to admire about the company and products, but I think Sinn does a better job of creating watches with more of a luxury look IMO. I consider neither of these companies as “luxury” brands, they are more tool watches, but Damasko watches seem almost too utilitarian for me, and are therefore less versatile. For example, Sinn 556 and 104 can be “dressed up”. Damasko look so rugged like they were made to go to war - which might be appealing for some consumers.

I like the Damasko company. They do have a bracelet but it’s about 600 USD. The only issue I have with the DS30 is the lug to lug of 48. I have a 7+ inch wrist but like smaller watches. My current daily is the medium gsar from marathon

@@Not-a-bot222 I ended up picking up a Damasko Da44 on strap a few months ago, pretty happy with the watch.

@@MrBacchus18 that’s awesome! I really want them to make a DS30 or similar tool watch that is smaller lug to lug, maybe 38mm case with 46.5 or so. I hope they stay at their price range too. The tech and attention to detail is amazing.

I like the Sinn, how does the build quality compare with the Certina? The Sinn has an ETA movement as does the Certina DS1 I have on order, it's a 'Powermatic' & COSC certified for less than £500 GBP I think the Sinn is over double that.

They are both very good. I'd say that the Sinn feels a bit more solid, although the DS1 and DS First are also very well made, especially for the price, as they're cheaper than the Sinn. Both very good watches but the Certina definitely does give you more watch for your money :) Thanks for watching!

@@tobias_dahlberg Although the 556 has 200m WR. So it is pretty much fit for swimming as well as diving. As you said in the video. It's one of the most verstile watches out there. I love it. especially the blue sunburst one with applied indices.

The powermatic 80 is literally a built to be disposable movement,so on that score alone the sinn is infinitely better

I keep hearing the Sinn 556 wears kind of big for its size, fits you perfectly. Big wrist?
