When my health went bad in the military and I had to reroute my life goals. When I suffered bad domestic violence. When there was reconciliation. When I was thinking of leaving. There is something about their music that makes you not feel alone.
For me this is exactly why they are so good. They don't make a song after song with bad quality. They master them to every little sound. And we appreciate their art because we get a new album very rarely :)

I'm dying to have more Foster the People in my mind. I'm so sad they're not in full-swing anymore. Supermodel and Torches is all I need for some days when it comes to what I'm listening to, but it makes me sad to see little evidence of a possible tour or anything in the future.

Mark announced that they've been working on a new album. I think he tweeted that he couldn't wait to come back "next year" (this was in 2015) with new music. Though, with the looks of it, I think we won't see any new material until early-mid 2017. He also mentioned working with One Republic on a song that is supposedly "Houdini's little brother". Cant wait!!!

Mark Foster said that they have about 70 song ideas for the new album, apposed to 14-18 for Supermodel and Torches. I'm predicting a couple singles are going to be released some time around March 2017.

Assuming it comes out this year, there'll be a kind of symmetry to it. 2 years for the 2nd album, 3 years for the 3rd. I guess it makes sense.
