Will Canada get a result against Argentina?
I really hope they play well for 90 minutes against Argentina like they just did recently against France in that friendly game, if the score ends up being 0-0 for Canada or a 1-1 draw, I'll be really happy for them! 🙂❤️🇨🇦

No expectations... All we can hope for is each player on the CMNT does their very best against some of the best positional players in the game... That's all we can hope for, I don't think expectations matter in this situation. At least half a billion people are around the world are going to be watching this game, it's going to be a new situation for many players and they're gonna feel another level "pressure" that they've never felt on the world stage before... Let's go Canada! Fight hard!

Depth matters so much in WC and Copa because yellow card accumulation means that you WILL have to rely on alternate starting lineups at times. I worry that if Davies gets a yellow or Johnson, Canada could have a real problem in the 2nd and 3rd games. So it might be utterly important that they come out of the argentina game with no yellows, I believe the yellows get wiped in the Quarters?
Or SFs, not sure. If we lose Johnston, we have Laryea, but for sure we will miss Adekugbe. Maybe Ahmed can help out in those positions?

Otamendi is very easy to press especially for a team like Canada, and Nico Gonzalez will provide zero end product in the offensive third.

I don't think Canada has much chances here... Overall they just lack the talent Argentina has, just the same way Argentina doesn't have chance against Canada in hockey lol. I think even Perú might run circles around them lol.
I just hope the Canadian team can shut up all the naysayers.... it doesn't mean they have to beat Argentina, but their performance will be a competitive for all three games, and that's all I ask.
i like to watch they play against the rugged Uruguay, its a good game, Uruguay could win 60% 😊
For me, Brazil, is the easier rival to be win by Argentina, but they must not be over confident, they should play at normal way, and hence, the Chile team also to be mention that could stop them for winning that Copa 😊

As a neutral (german moroccan here) i think cadana could get a result against argentina ,yes they are really good but i think its a winnable game just look at what saudi did to them and it wasn't out of pure luck but it was a tactical plan by their manager with players that are lower quality than canada's altought i have no faith in jessie i think with the players that you have you can pull this up as for the other matchs *peru and chily are not good teams i think we (morocco) beat them 3:0 at a time when we had problems in our attack and we saw that in the world cup as for the futur with canada being a pot 1 team in 2026 r16 should be the expectation . i cant wait for that argentina canada match

Argentina have an habit of loosing their first match in international competitions; even against low rated teams.
Argentina started six World Cups losing first match. The last time was against Saudi Arabia, in Qatar.
Sir keep in mind, Argentina scored 4 goals on Saudi and one was disallowed by mistake from Martinez. It should have been 2-2. Saudi focused all of their strength and energy on defeating Argentina and not on winning the WC. They really practiced that offside line😆. But we shall see tomorrow.
