Zynthian is an amazing project with an amazing community behind. The new firmware released a few weeks ago also pushed the whole engine defenitely to a higher professional level. The Synthesizer DIY community is growing these days. Also have a look at the 8-voice polyphonic + effects TubeOhm Jeannie Synth. Ist sounds absolutely fantastic!
@@dragonfly_bry And I have forgotten to mention another hot project called Microdexed Touch. A FM Synth like Yamaha DX7. Also based on the powerful Teensy 4.1 soc.
Great video, for me Pura Vida, thanks. Can Zynthian do a stereo stage expansion. (I assume adding the inverse of one channel to the other?? eg makes the right channel sound outside the right speaker)
I gotta tell you I’m just like you my first sequencer was the MMT8… Alesis Sequencer. I gotta get my hands on that new Jawn. It’s looks like it will cook your Breakfast 4 u. And I like my eggs right in the morning. I’m gonna have to go over there and check that tutorial out that you got going on on that unit,….thanks for the video brah.
I think around $200 or less for all the parts. Hours/days/weeks in getting it all working how I want it haha! I'm gonna try to buy the kit when its available again. Thanks for checking it out!
Zynthian software is free. All you need is a RaspberryPi 4 (hard to find nowadays), a monitor & keyboard, a USB MIDI interface ($20), and a sound card (DAC Hat is best, but a cheap USB audio dongle $10 will work too. ) You can get fancier, with a touch-screen or the whole kit, but that’s not required.
Dope stuff.
Supercool video! I will definetly check this out. Didnt know the raspberry pi had this much capability!
The pi4 is really very capable - the 8gb ram one is really fast for a pi. Thanks Henrik!!
Such a great video! Your process for making these videos is really inspiring. Appreciate you taking the time to share:)
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I loved Beat #1 took me back in time a bit.
Thanks!!!!
This is a sick combo.

not sure, but its a ton of audio plugs in all varieties. I'd bet theres an easy way to dial that in. I usually address that during mixdown in the daw.

Oh wow, so you don't need to buy the Zynthian kit if you already have RPI 4 sitting around, Midi interface.
Facts BUT the new v5 machine is really good. I’ll do a vid on it soon as I learn it better.
