Civil Air Patrol, Dress Blues Uniform, How to Put Together the Belt 720p

This is a tutorial on how to put together the belt, since I couldn't find any other video tutorials on the subject on UA-cam.

Yeah, once you get the alignment right, you cut off the excess. However, if you're still growing, you may want to leave some excess available for the future.

Thanks, I was getting pissed of because I could not figure out the buckle, but I think that they either gave me the wrong size buckle or belt. Mine did not just slip in like yours, one end I had to force and the other was impossible

Do you have to pull the roller device all the way to the other side of the buckle, or just far enough to secure the metal clip of the belt to the buckle? Mine seems secure, but there is still a few millimeters worth of gap within the track between the roller device and the end of the buckle itself.

If the roller device is not pulled taught, the chrome tip will slide as you wear the belt. That doesn't look too great.

Sorry, I just now saw this (account issues). If you're still having issues, use a pair of straight scissors to cut it clean. If it's cotton, you'll need to do some sewing to keep it from unraveling. If it's synthetic, you might be able to (carefully) melt the end to keep it together.

Look at your local surplus store. They might have something. You can also purchase it from Vanguard if your squadron doesn't have any blues belts, but it won't arrive for at least a week.

There is no reason to cut anything off. You just move the buckle forward and tuck the extra belt underneath the belt so it doesn't show. Move the buckle out farther if you gain weight.

Yep wrap it around your waist and put the belt tip through the belt buckle slide the little round part that's inside the belt to the side to secure the tip and to tighten pull ,if your a male it goes to the left if your a female it goes to the right . Hope this helps :)
