I think while doing these videos people need to mention the tires, I have the new AT4 and it performs really well off road. I put BFG KO2s on it and it climbs really good. the stock tire shown in this video does not do it justice. Thanks for videos!
Absolutely agree, if you have watched us for a while, you will hear us praise the K02, and stress how important tire choice is. We always say that tire choice shows intent. That being said, we are unable to pick the tires that press vehicles come to us with. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. I just traded the Ram in for a 2022 Colorado Z71 last month (didn't want to be a test dummy for the new gen) haven't modded it for offroad yet though.
I have a 22 Z71 as well, no real mods besides taking the air dam off and upgraded skid plates from RCI. It’s been great! Still new to off roading, but I’ve taken it to trails at Hidden Falls Adventure Park here in central Texas. With an experienced spotter helping me, I’ve been able to do a lot. It’s been a blast to see what this truck can do.
2:18 just FYI most people don’t want to buy a vehicle they have to “trick” into doing something. That just sounds like a warranty visit with lots of questions asked brah 😑
I went to a buy a GMC Canyon for 50k and then the sales lady told me it was a two wheel driven lol it looked like a 4x4,, I told her oh hell no, I went to Chevy and bought a Colorado Trail Boss for 41,100 with every option you can get on one including cruise, tow package , soft tailgate with storage in t gate, sprayed in liner, the plastic interior doesn’t bother me and I love the black plastic grill and now the dealer I bought this truck at has marked all their Colorados up by 10k cause of strike, I got a lot of truck for 41k also got mine calibrated to 430# torque! It is the same color as the GMC I liked ,medium gray, I forgot the proper name of the color but I like it!
That would have to be a extremely loaded up canyon elevation 2wd to be 50k. A loaded up at4 4wd is around 50k. I'm thinking she didn't know what she was talking about or they had some sort of mark up.
Hello guys, I've been subscribed to your channel for a week. I like it. Good presentation. Short and sweet. Everything important is there. But please save yourself the nonsense with the 2H at the beginning. No one would ever try to drive that high. This is impractical. Best regards.

Should have tried terrain mode, you have to have 4wd engaged to use it
I read that 4 auto is for paved surfaces only.. just put it in 4 high to start on off road
They're still putting G80 diffs in brand new ~$45,000 trucks? That's wild.

Expect more from gm regarding the suspension it's a spacer lift n generic shocks the last at4 had better shocks
0:41 cameraman be like I know you trying to show the approach angle but I’m going to the passenger side fool 🤣

The G80 is pretty proven simple diff locker that gm has used for decades now. Not as good as a simple e locker, but is very robust.
Berm peak shirt NIIICE!
There’s a centre diff lock?
Yes, 4h is a 50/50 split. 4auto has a clutch on the front of the transfer case that allows it to function like awd.
The G80 should work well on road and snow
