What a lovely little town. There are tales that our family came over to America from Ipswich in the 1600's to Massachusetts. This is so awesome to get to see the town they came from so many centuries ago. To see that old building still there is incredible. To think some of my ancestors were on the streets where you are now walking, is really something.
I can hardly wait for the second part.
I did read something about the Mayflower but I forget what.

I used to work for Sun Alliance who were in the same building that Giles worked in. Also worked for Willis Faber & Dumas in their amazing building when it opened in 1975. Officially opened in June by Harold Macmillan who was the father in law of Julian Faber. It snowed. Or maybe my memory is playing tricks with me.
So much here I didn't know - & Ipswich is my home town. Good video 👍😊

There used to be an ABC cinema there back in the 80's I am from Ipswich - it I a great city - recently voted on the top 15 towns in Europe -also a hub for insurance companies- the Willis building won architectural awards back in the 70's. Now it is full of coffee shops!!!

Sorry to be a pain Dan, but in 6.16 The lower part of the coat of arms "Devet et mon droit" means "God and my right" i think Dan means in the center of the coat of arms. "Honi soit qui mal y pense" "May he be shamed who thinks badly of it" and its old french not latin
