Thanks my friend. A d yes, the lifespan and potential issues are a downside, but one unfortunately we have to accept. The good thing is that with every year it is improving so in the future I expect these devices will need much less maintenance and replacing
21 year old Cisgender man, t12 complete spinal cord injury. This video is very helpful thank you, I suffered a spinal cord injury at 16 leaving me paralyzed from the waist down and with ED. I’m 5 years out since I’ve been able to walk, get hard or have an orgasm. Tough reality to deal with as a young man but I’m hoping after I get this surgery done I can have a bit more of a normal life, idc about walking anymore thats not a possibility, I just want my Johnson to work again and that is something I can fix. I won’t have any sensation or orgasms but I’ll be able to please a partner and have more confidence in myself. The success rates and satisfaction rates are so high I’m very optimistic. Thank you for your honesty! I also have CFS from a bad bout of Covid I got in 2022. I'm on the fence about any type of lower surgery for many reasons. Did the surgeries negatively affect the fatigue issues?
Thank you for watching and appreciating the honesty! Im sorry you have this awful condition too. Luckily for me, my ME didnt take hold until the last year of my surgery, I didnt even know I had it at that point, I just thought it was post surgery fatigue. Id had so much going on, plus Id been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, so Id assumed it was that. Looking back, it definitely made thing more problematic, was much slower to heal and recover. Had I known though, I could have made better allowances. I can understand your being on the fence about surgery because of this, I would be too. When my implant device needs replacing, I am going to have to weigh up if its worth it, as it will undoubtable affect my fatigue and health in general. We have to weigh up the benefits dont we? If its going to hugely affect our mental health to not have surgery, then ultimately our physical healh will be impacted too and vice versa, so its often about finding ways to do as much damage control as we can. I had a lot of complications on my urethra, so I'm giving myself s little bit of a break for the whole surgery deciding stuff. I have a long term partner too and we've been happy so far. The pump, for me, is no longer a matter of felling more like myself, it's more about having more possibilities and more life fun(: So I don't feel the urgency I felt with other surgeries. You see, I don't know if it will make enough difference in my life for me to go for it. What if once a I have it put in I realize it's not really something I'm confortable using? What if I'm afraid or ruining it? What if it my partner doesn't like it? What if we enjoy it so damn much we get anxiety with the chance of it breaking at some point? Unfortunately the semi rigid isn't without faults either. Plus, you have to live with a semi erection at all times because although you can bend it into a non erect position, it never hangs in a natural.non erect way and I really didn't want that. I wanted the experience of just swinging naturally!

It's not rude at all my friend it's a valid question. With phalloplasty, the reproductive system isn't created, so there is no sperm.produced and therefore no sperm ejaculated. However, some people can ejaculate, if they were able to ejaculate before they had phalloplasty. This fluid is from the skeen gland and if those are left in tact then yes, post Phallo ejaculation would still be possible. I hope that helps!

I'm afraid to try an implanted device, I have autoimmune issues and my body hates foreign objects of any kind. I have been putting off lower surgery/weighing my options for around 5 years now. My growth is alright, but since hysto/oophorectomy I've had dryness and atrophy problems that I don't know how much longer I can deal with going through either.
