I listened to this guy over a decade ago. I was a freshman in college. Some of the most beautiful covers I have ever heard. It’s weird hearing this now. I’m transported back in time to same lonely feeling I had then and that odd sense of Hope floating above the darkness. I hope this guy is doing well.
My bachelor's degree thesis theme.. I was writing it listening to this cover, on an endless loop, sitting on a floor with a laptop on my laps for like 2 months or so.. It always reminds me of this particular time in my life :)
I've never beheld such talent, everything this guy has seem to have put out is amazing, sad there's not to much of it but very thankful to at least bore witness to some.
Gihm is the dude playing this amazing cover, He had a youtube channel with all his videos but suddenly He deleted his channel and dissapeared. Some youtube users like juliano (the one who upload this video) and others have been submiting some of his videos.
Now worries man, and yeah. Gihm is/was a cover artist from Japan (I think). Really amazing beautiful stuff, and thanks to juliano4400 for posting it back up.
I'm sorry to let you down after all this years but Gihm was a dude that had a youtube channel and suddenly disappeared. Search the web for Gihm covers and you'll find info about it if you haven't already
@@Tromstorm seems as if he could've been in sweden or just really liked sweden, i've been going crazy trying to find the guitar he has in this video and some others, can't find the model but it's 100% a 1950s Levin, an old swedish guitar manufacturer

That is exactly what I am doing right now.
Gihm has the best taste in musicians, a legend.

Mate that is amazing. timing in this song is critical and difficult but you pulled it off. Great band hey!?

Sorry for commenting so much but did you interpret this yourself?
oh ok sorry is gihm another artist?
GIHM is BACK
Tripper is the best album ever
i think gihm is danish. the song name is danish and there is possibly a danish flag in the background next to the violin
but I think he's korean, probably living abroad in one of scandinavian country. The pronunciation of Gihm remind me of Kim;s name in Korea.

Dude, this is Gihm, not the poster.
