A big caveat to booking flights with budget airlines is the additional fees associated with baggage, food, and other complementaries offered by “regular” airlines. For example, our flights to San Diego without any “carry-ons” were $100 round trip! $25 per passage one way (still can’t get over this). But, with “carry-ons,” this would have added $50-$100 per person per flight (also can’t get over this 🙄…). That’s kind of the catch of these budget airlines.
However, I’d you are looking for a quick trip out of town, we really recommend looking into this option! Especially with this amazing bag, we found that perfectly fits the personal item dimensions and allows you to pack smart.
We scored these on Amazon after hours of researching different options (really didn’t want to risk being subject to the $100 bag fee at the gate - ouch!).
The small size measures 16.53” tall x 12.6” wide x 7.87” deep allowing it to easily fit in the personal item bin. 😍

I flew frontier and use that same backpack I stuffed it full! And amazingly it just dropped right in to the luggage checker!

Any small backpack would fit… the question is how much did you stuff it, since it’s a flexible exterior… knowing how much you put into the bag and how full it was before you clipped it down could’ve made this video really invaluable.

I bought the exact same backpack as yours for my trip to Sharm el sheikh I was looking for a travel backpack that was spacious but then I found this I got this I just my stuff today it fit perfectly I could definitely fit a few more and I’ve still got the shoes compartment empty I might put flip flops in there

Not a a fan of the quality of this bag so I’m still in search for a rolley personal bag. So far, I got mixi from Amazon that fit with Jet blue basic but not Spirit lol😊

Flew on Frontier from Philadelphia to Ft Meyers.. I have been using air Travel for the the last 50 yrs... They were the Worst I have ever flown on...

@@Ahardee I am flying in 2 weeks and I fly every 90 days . On AA, I know exactly what I am getting, if I have a question or a problem I can call and speak to a representative who will help me.
There are no Gate Nazis measuring my bags. And I get a Coke and a cookie.

@@sunnyscott4876 I prefer AA to frontier. I just seem to get better deals from Dallas to California. The gate Nazis are awful, but to save hundreds of dollars I can suffer lol.
