So good to see another upload Dan. Can't wait to see everything that's coming, detecting on the beach but even more interestingly the gold panning in Scotland and Wales, this I have always wanted to do. Best wishes.
@@DIRTDIGGERDAN Be patient regards digging-up a ring on the beach, best time is in the winter months while the storms are pounding the beach. I once detected around some beach huts during and after a huge easterly storm, the sand and shingle was all washed away leaving a clay pan something like 4 feet down from the normal level...the beach below the huts was awash with all the gold n' silver rings plus pocket's full of coins and WW2 bullets. It was my best day's detecting ever !, and Iv been detecting since the 70's.
Yeah I remember seeing a good out detectorests out after the winter storms back when I lived on the east coast for a few years. And I always loved going for a walk on the beach after to see what had been washed up. Ended up phoning the police a few times after finding the odd WW2 bomb poking out of the sand.

I got my first metal detector in January and I also bought the Ace 250. Good bit of kit 👌
Nice update Dan! I was wondering when you were going to get into the metal detecting side of prospecting. Looks like fun, good luck!
Thanks dude.
