    As a kid,growing up with no cable. Never getting to see RAW except for the recaps on SMACKDOWN. Stone Cold coming out on SMACKDOWN WAS FUCKING EPIC!!!!!(,:

      at the time and as a kid, this was one of the most bad ass moments in my memories for me. Brock as such a super bad ass at the time, so when stone cold went to smack down by himself!!!!!!!! it was sooooooooooooooooooo awesome.

      Unfortunately, even though Austin wrestled up to WM19, everything that he did after Owen Hart dropped him on his head at SummerSlam 1997, you got "good" Austin, but not GREAT. I wouldn't want to see Austin/Lesnar AFTER Austin's neck surgery.

      Austin wanted the match but Vince wanted it to have next to no build up and Vince wanted Steve to put Lesnar over. Steve declined it so we never saw the match

      @shawnwhite08sw Austin said he had no problem putting Lesmar over, it was just the fact that Vince wanted Lesnar to beat Austin in a King of the ring qualifier match on raw. Which was silly because these two could've easily pulled a big draw at a PPV.

    Big Show was heel, but he respected his friendship with Austin more than Brock. Remember how Austin and Big Show worked together to put the titantron down back in 1999? And how they formed a tag team against Undertaker and Kane

    Only Steve Austin can walk through an entire roster unscathed. Only Austin can send a beast like Brock Lesnar packing. Only a legend like Austin can send the crowd home happy. When that glass shatters everyone is on their feet. Epic segment - hell yeah! Que the music and beer smashing.

Doesnt make sense with others, but with Austin it does. you can write a script for everyone doesnt mean it would make sense, or that the fans would agree

    Remember when Austin walked out in June 2002 because he felt jobbing to Lesnar for the KOTR didn’t make sense? This angle proved him right. Too bad that by March 2004 Austin was done as an active competitor. Had he been able to keep wrestling, he could’ve had incredible matches with Goldberg and Lesnar prior to or at Wrestlemania 20.

      slight mistake there - He walked out because he didn't want to job to Lesnar on Raw, not KOTR. Austin was supposed to have a match with Eddie at KOTR.

    This segment is The Art of Respect. My favorite edition of SmackDown! when Stone Cold Steve Austin brought back the Attitude Era on SmackDown! during the height of the Ruthless Agression Era in his final SmackDown ! appearance. Only if this segment was more epic and intense 2 years prior in 2002 when Brock was on the rise that year dominating every roster. Austin departed that Spring for personal issues, injury and backstage issue with WWE. If issue was settle soon no doubt this would have been a epic rivalry with great storytelling, vignettes, promos, segments and build-up to a five star classic match ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

      Y’all forgetting that Lesnar n Austin had a lumberjack in May 2002. Might have been Austin’s last match for that year. There was no winner due to interference from the lumberjacks but it’s still a match nonetheless.

    It's awesome Seeing Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman together in this segment since Paul Heyman Betrayed Brock @ Survivor Series 2002 that was great Continuity and The Smackdown Roster not doing anything Just Letting Austin enter the Ring was Hilarious.

      @@nike316 I don't think you understand. Brock does not deserve to have a match with Stone Cold. Stone Cold is a legend because he earned that. Brock never earned anything in his whole career. The fact that WWE just handed him everything right out of the gate completely devalues him as a wrestler and I would say it devalues him as a main eventer but the truth is Brock was never main event quality to begin with. It's real simple. You're not main event quality until you earn that position. Brock Lesnar is not main event quality and he should've never been put in matches with main eventers.

    The interesting thing is the 1st 2 up there was Billy/Chuck even tho they was in different paths of their career.
    Definitely a awesome segment with Lesnar last appearance on SD at that point, Locker Room turning on Heyman or you can say that they respected Austin as well then the Lesnar/Austin brawl.

    This will always be one of my favourite segments. This was WWE at it's best. Who else got goosebumps when Michael Cole was hyping Wrestlemania towards the end.

    Guys. WWE was produced also in Eastern EU. in 2000-2008. Watched it everyday. Watched with plesure but we think it was real as kids. SOyears later we realise how special and iconic was WWE. PURE AND AMAZING. ! Reply me pleease one of most iconic matches.

    There won’t ever be a time like the fist smackdown era for me. Wasn’t alive for the attitude era but the smackdown fist always makes me smile. Brock, taker, Eddie Guerrero, chain gang cena, the crippler, 3-6 mafia concert, and scenes like this damn near every week.

    The raw vs smackdown segments were legendary. At the end of one raw all the smackdown guys came out and had a giant brawl. As a kid I went nuts

      @@aboriginalson I know, but RAW and it's Pay-Per-Views and the SmackDown! Pay-Per-Views we're more adult oriented. Not to mention SmackDown! was airing on UPN at the time and they have to follow FCC rules and regulations (but it's uncensored live in person). On the SmackDown! Pay-Per-Views, they can get away with anything.

    Tazz was funny on commentary. In my opinion he was second to best than Jim Ross of course. Don’t get me wrong, Lawler was also funny on commentary. But Tazz would also explain the moves and explain how a submission works. All Jerry talked about was puppies and bigger puppies.

    Yeah it was about respect for Austin. That was awesome, it came after a sad time for me, so it was a blur, so thanks to the uploader for uploading the whole segment!!
    And if that's the closest we will ever see Austin V Lesnar I will be take that. I think it would of been a tough one for WWE to call who would get a win. If Austin won, people wouldn't believe it (even though, yeah it's not real lol). If Lesnar won it would leave a bitter taste in fans mouth, especially back then, before Lesnar broke Takers streak.
