That was the FIRST thing I thought of when I saw these boots. My main two adcs are Jhin and Xayah and permanent empowered recall on two champs for the price of one 🥰
Also it doesn't bother me, I actually LOVE that they use two types of Souls/Soles. The description is perfect too, "With each step, your mindn slips..." "... closer to perfection." And the phrase symbiotic is the form of a kind of parasite that is actually mutually beneficial to its host as it is itself. Like Venom from spiderman, a symbiote. So at first, it is a symbiotic creature, where you get benefit from it but it gets benefit from you... but by the end, you and the boots have become ONE, and it is no longer symbiotic, it is a PART of you, its soul and your soul have SYNCHRONIZED. You go from a pair of symbiotic soles... to a pair of synchronized souls
"Soles" refers to the bottom part of a shoe, while "souls" refers to the spiritual or immaterial essence of a being. It’s probably why the tier 2 and tier 3 version boots are written differently.
I'm more inclined to believe that the whole name must be taken into account as they're symbiotic at first, meaning 2 living beings working for each other and when they evolve it means their link has strengthened enough that they become synchronized souls rather than just symbiotic ;)

I tried it in try mode and couldn’t get it to work. I don’t think it does. It should though - the 20s cooldown is plenty to keep it from being abusive when used by Ashe etc.

It just occurred to me... How do these upgraded boots work with Xayah Rakan? I haven't played Rakan in a hot minute, but the idea of having a Rakan get himself and Xayah a 4 second recall along with Xayah buying zerkers that also upgrades now (with gold, not a quest) would be funny to see. The lovers with some slick Air Jordans 😂

to expand on the empowered recall being bananas, instead of "how many times were you just 2 seconds too late?", try asking "how many times were they setting up a dive but you couldn't back in time because it took just a few seconds too long?" These boots aren't only insane for support, they're GAME CHANGING for top lane. You can just NOPE out of any dive.

the new Yun Tal's Arrows bleed on crit, and you can get 100% crit on Senna without having to build crit thanks to her passive, so if you build arrows and other just pure damage items i reckon you can do some serious damage. i'd love to see that on your next Senna video!! missed your streams, good to hear you're back on your feet ;)
An idea just to be a little more efficient, when you're waiting for health and mana regen you should walk back and forth in the boots to get the upgrade a little faster

Yo ioki do you think jungle is good to climb from a mental standpoint? Im trying to improve my macro consistency but i wonder if i should just try to win with macro from bot or supp. Ive mained jungle since 2016... And sometimes i wish i could just go bot and turn my brain off and scale. For context im silver every season been gold once
As a supp main the biggest issue for me is do I pick up the godtier generalist boots or do I go lucid in order to try and mitigate some of the exhaust nerfs. Same thing with runes. Go green to get the heal and shield? or now go teal for the SH? Honestly from what I've experienced today I think going empowered boots is worth it about 90 percent of the time.
Sounds like all they are trying to do is prevent mobi rush. But 150,000 units is not far. At 365ms that's less than 7 minutes of movement. 30 seconds just getting back to lane after buying them already done.
i onlt watch his videos when he play dmg champions. i hate it when ioki plays enchanters and act like the carry stealing kills. at least he can take kills as pyke and i do not feel like watching a dominant bottom :).

Uhh... Janna, Rakan and Bard have the ability to outroam Pyke by a mile... It just depends on who is playing them.
Pyke is much more dependent on roaming
