    Great video for anyone wondering why their rtv doesn’t move . This is what you’re getting into. It’s complex for a side by a side .

    Keep the vids coming. As a lifelong Kinesthetic learner, what you are showing makes complete what I have read and observed in the WSM. I have no near future plans right now to tear my 2023 X1100C apart, but your vids showing the internals really helps complete the understanding of how it works.

      Thank you for the support! I agree, the manuals have good information, but if you haven't had it apart the cross sections are a bit confusing. Once you see it then it makes much more sense!

    You have found you calling lol😮. So many of us want the Kubota reliability with the heat and air but just hate the no power or speed. 30 mph with power is all we need and don’t lose the reliability factor. Make more videos ,machine some custom parts show us the available of what engines with more power would fit without problems . Make a front locker for them . Open a shop we will all ship our machines to you for modifications you will be a billionaire. Thanks 😊

    nice video, out kubota x900 would not move. the trans low pressure had no pressure, the problem was an oil leak. that cased the hydraulic oil tank under the passenger's seat to be too low to supply oil to the transmission pump. the hydrostat is supplied from the hydraulic tank.

    Thank you for sharing. I am fascinated by the Kubota RTVs and hope to own one someday. I wonder if the D1105-T made by Kubota will fit. People will RTVs crave more speed and HP. The D1105-T would do it.

    Hello. Thanks for the videos! They are very educational especialy this one. I have purchased used x900 and had HST repaired. Pre owners never changed oil for 32000 km and some of the pistons literaly melted. New parts with pistons are very expensive and used parts is nowhere to get. Something on ebay but... I wouldnt risk it. Would you be ready to sell me and send some used parts if I find some new issue with it? It would be really incouraging.
    Best regards from Slovenia, Matej

      @@SearlesStationhello it’s been few months since I asked for help. I finally got my RTV running. I finally figured out the issue. My issue was it wasn’t going for or backwards and it would be full throttle and not move an inch. I replaced the two transmission filter is the way back and Waalaa it moves now and runs awesome. It’s been sitting for over 13 years about give or take. Also the fuel filter

    good day . i was waching your video , seen your pile of broken parts . had my pump apart . did not find any thing wrong in it , end up pulling some of the valves apart to see if any springs where broken . i have a small peice i can not find where it goes . i would like to know if you still have your broken pump parts from the rtv x900 i am looking for the steel plate that holds all the valves .

    Appreciate you uploading video!
    Why do you need a transmission. Is it possible to hook up drive motor to a drive shaft directly?
    Have a hydraulic pump hooked to engine. And go directly to a drive motor to drive the shaft?
    And do away with the transmission.

    Hi. Got a question you may be able to help me with. I have a 2018 1100c I just bought used. I decided to do all the preventative maintenance since this is new to me. Today I tackled the HST. I changed out both filters with new Kubota filters. After I changed them out I took it for a test ride and things were fine. I then checked the fluid level and found it to be way overfilled. I decided that I would loosen the big filter and let fluid drain from that since that filter seemed to leak fluid the entire time. After what i thought was enough fluid removed I put the filter back on. Now I have no transmission. I did all the preventive things I found on the internet that included lifting the wheels off the ground and running it till the wheels spin. Once that happened I took it for a ride. It was very sluggish and when I got it up to speed and lifted the gas pedal it was like someone hit the brakes hard and then it would jerk forward. I suspect either there is air in the system or the pumps aren't getting fluid. Nothing I have done helped. If it sits for a while it won't move until I raise it up and do the pedal thing until the wheels move. I even reverted to putting the old large filter back on to see if that changed anything. (it didn't). So before I call a dealer I am wondering if there is a trick to purge the system of air or a way to see if fluid is getting to the pumps as they should. The fluid level is currently correct. Any help is appreciated.
    Lou

      With the hydraulic transmission there is no coasting like a regular vehicle. If you take your foot off the pedal it does come to an immediate stop. That is normal operation.
      There shouldn't be air trapped in the system after a few moments of operation. It should clear itself. Which location are you checking for fluid level? The orange/yellow cap under the bed is basically for the gears only. The tank under the passenger seat is the operation fluid. If that one is low, that could be your issue. Lift the seats, take out the tray and you'll see a rubber plug on the passenger side. Check that, or let me know if it's at a correct level.

    • @lperagallo
      @lperagallo 23 дні тому

      Funny that I just got your response. I just returned from the kubota dealer and when I inquired a kind man said "did you check the tank under the passenger seat". I did and it was almost completely empty. I put in 1 1/2 gallons of udt2. Started in up, let it run a few minutes then drove away. Problem solved! Based on how hard it was to open the filler plug I guess it has never been checked or topped off. Thank you for your help.

    If my rtv 1140 is shifting and I can see gears moving inside tranny through the fill port . Should I be testing my charge pressure ?
    Thank you

    • @SearlesStation
      @SearlesStation  2 місяці тому

      Yes, both charge pressure and relief pressure. Check fluid level, filters. Sometimes the rubber hose can collapse on the hydraulic lines ans not allow fluid to move. Squeeze them to see if they are soft and squishy

      @@SearlesStation thank you for your reply
      My charge pressure was 0 psi in neutral and high idle .
      I removed 2 separate relief valves and saw no scoring or anything bad . All components in place and moved freely. I did replace filters and hoses looked ok but will check that again . I had the charge pressure port in the back off and open and started it and hardly any fluid came out . Bearly dribbled .

    I have a 2015 RTV x1100c and it has stranded in the field. How can I disengage the transmission to tow it back to the shop? Or can I just pull it back to shop without disengaging? Thank you for any help

    • @SearlesStation
      @SearlesStation  2 місяці тому

      You should be able to put it in neutral...
      Press the brake hard and try to shift it. If that doesn't work, there maybe be an issue with the gears, if that's the case it may not move.
      Pull the orange/yellow dipstick and look inside to see if you can see any gear damage.

    After releasing throttle on a downhill it will stop very slowly or even will not. And I a missing some power for acceleration ur uphill. I have set a linkage to hidrostatic motor that it does not turn wheels when in high gear and lifted. Any idea what it wrong. Thank you.

    • @SearlesStation
      @SearlesStation  3 місяці тому

      These will come to a stop or very slow down hill. That's how the hydrostatic system works. If it's in gear it will only move if the throttle is in acceleration.
      They do lose speed up hill. I have a video showing the uphill speed. Check that out

    • @ChuckyYeager
      @ChuckyYeager 3 місяці тому

      I saw your video and I expect to come to a stop. But mine would not. My friend drowe it yesteday and he said it should brake much more than it does after relasing power becouse he owns one and it does so. Can I try to adjust something? Thanks

    • @SearlesStation
      @SearlesStation  3 місяці тому +1

      Your pressure relief valve may be stuck open. That would allow for loss of acceleration as well. This video talks about hard shifting because the valve isnt being pushed, but yours may be always pushed or bad. ua-cam.com/video/q-C3KzQ6NwA/v-deo.htmlsi=u67twtgdW27JuLPM

    • @ChuckyYeager
      @ChuckyYeager 3 місяці тому

      When I have it on flat or lifted rear wheels and in high gear it will not move. It even shifts good without pushing brake. But I lack of acceleration after 10mph. It will creep to 20.

    • @SearlesStation
      @SearlesStation  3 місяці тому +1

      Check the hydraulic hoses for collapse or softness, that can restrict flow. Your hydraulic pump or motor may be bad, the relief valve may be bad, their definitely seems to be something wrong with your hydraulic system.
      Change fluid, filter?
