I'm glad that someone said that. God does want us to be happy, absolutely. :) And a huuuge part of the happiness he designed for us was the ordination of marriage and having families. It's a beautiful, wonderful thing that brings huge happiness into a person's life, to be part of a family. But that can only happen when marriage is between man and woman. So I think it does make God sad when marriage is not used according to its design and purpose.
