Yes, very easy! ✌😄👍
Is it because you already have some eggs in the fish poo so it works? Or just use the filter wool will work? I never feed mine with live food and love to give it a try

I cultured blood worms thank you soo much super
gREAT VID THANK YOU. I already have been accidentally breeding the bloodworms ...in small open tubs / comtainers in my small garden. They just seem to appear. ALso I think some eggs have hatched indoors from smaller containers I have been gathering mosquito larvae in also. The betta fish and others love the mosquito larvae too . I have been chasing various sized blood worms in my small pots indoors , trying to catch them by disturbing their shelters...didn't realize the tubes at the sides were built be them, i thought they just buried themselves in the dirt and litter at the bottom. So your video has helped me save a lot of time haha.... and also now I know how to wash and separate them from the dirst and sludge . I have found a few VERY LARGE... 5 cm or more... similar red stripey worms living in the same containers, and a few have crawled out from the indoor containers overnight. Do you know if they are just older mature bloodworms of same species or are they different to the small ones... like the ones in your video ? Thank you to anyone who replies with info . I am puzzled by this and google is even more confusing trying to identify them . Thanks for your great vid from a novice fish keeper and worm breeder ib Australia. :))

New subscriber here. How many harvest with this setup? Is it continuous? And how do you prevent dengue carrying mosquito from laying their egge there. Thanks for answering.
Can harvest weekly
Mosquito will lay eggs here too
Harvest mosquito larvae always and feed to your betta
It is very good for conditioning 😀👍
@@6maquariumfish Can I do this inside then?
Dont mosquitos lay their eggs in the same water?
Yes, mosquitos will lay their eggs here too and that is a bonus live food for our fishes! 😀
I collect the mosquito larvae first and feed to bettas. I check daily
@@6maquariumfish oo ok thanks alot because mostly i get the mosquito larvas
@@attilabester5587 😄👍
OK, but how do I keep the mosquitos from laying their eggs in the cooler too? 🤔
The thing is you have to rely on the mosquitos. So is very hard to provide enough food for the fishes unless you are a betta owner or have less than 10 fishes
Use smaller depth aqua . I use small plastic container cause this bloodworm just stick to the bottom. I stack them up. Less area more worm

Do you just leave the box outside hoping the midges will find it or do you obtain the midges somewhere? As for tubifex, I have tried in vain to find any because the supply from Mexico seems to have shut down. Does anyone have a source for them?

එ් ගෝනි වල කුනුද?
Hey bro.
I have a doubt while seeing your betta tank. How much gallons of water needed for adult betta? I'm using only 2 gallons of fish tank like bowl. Is it comfortable for the betta fish.
Bettas can live even in very small jars, but they won't be happy.
The bigger the tank the better.
Add some plants to make your beta happier 😀👍

Can i use other dirt for the habitat of bloodworms?what is it?

What if mosquito lay egg
How do you prevent mosquito larvae from laying eggs in there or does it not matter?
I’m pretty sure mosquito babies(the worms/worm stage) are a solid source of protein also
For my area the temperature effects development and hatch rate.
any advice sa dami or baka may mali akong ginawa.. salamat!!
Is it ok possible in all temperature
I believe so 😊👍
Wait so we just fill a container with water, cover half of it with a floating device and worms will appear under there? Won’t I just end up with mosquitoes?
There will also be mosquito larva.
But if you put fish poop in the tank, midge flies will lay their eggs in to it. 😊👍
@@6maquariumfish wow awesome thank you so much. I don’t mind the mosquitoes larvae I use them for my pea puffers. I just never knew you could do this. Does the water have to be d dechlorinated?
What about mosquitos? I don't want that
this dude 4:42 is so handsome 😎
Yes, so handsome! 😀👍
2:37 you shouldnt put your betta or any other fish in there if you dont know if it has parasites and if the water conditions are same as in other tank
1:07 i dont get where the worms came from
The midge fly will lay eggs that will turn into bloodworms 😊👍
Subrang dali lng tlga mgculture ng blood worms sakin tubig ulan pa yung sa alulud dumaan tapos madaming mga dahon2 after 2 weeks dami n blood worm lalaki pa nila😊

I can’t get bloodworms but can get mosquito larvae
I have heard different bugs like different stuff in their water. For example where I am some mosquito larvae seem to like dandelion water while a different type (looks different from the other container) seems to like algae water. And the clear water next to the other two holds swimming bug(s). So based on my area the stuff in the water seems to make a difference.
hmm those are probably way too big to eat for fish under 3 cm. a pity. i'd culture daphnia , but my fish weren't too interested in those when frozen either.
Please show tubifex culture
I will bro. Very soon! 😀
