He's Gotta Be Fresh From The Fight | Fabledom - Part 3 (Fairy Tale City Builder - Full Version)

- Fabledom continues and we welcome the very first Hero of CupboardVale, the mighty Fergus! He does appear to be fresh from the fight and also a little larger than life, which are excellent credentials for our Hero!
Oh and also he has a little hat on which is potentially not really his style but any hat is better than no hat, right?
Fergus does a little bit of adventuring around the place, popping into ruins, having a chat with a tree, investigating a missing shoe and even giving advice to a young lady in a red hood...
CupboardVale continues to grow and we add fish to our list of different foods people can eat because we build our very first fishery. Fishing progress seems slow but steady, which is fine by me.
In a new part of town we build quite a lot of houses and, to support them, we build a new lumberjack hut and coal burner, just to make sure the homes have enough coal to see them through winter.
Also we pave a little bit of road, ponder our courtship options and wait, what's that I can smell, is it... fresh BREAD?!

Farrah's boon would help dramatically. Many resources seem to be under 50 as they are consumed as soon as produced. It would solve your coal issue.
Excellent video as always - love it!
@Penge you accidentally unticked the coal in the stockpile and are not storing it anywhere. Please double check and set to store coal somewhere
If you cannot send a gift, you can just send the message. The relationship bar still moves up. :D
Trying to say this w/o spoilers, but later, when you have town levels and wee musical amenities, get down at the level and really listen to it. This game is so impressive for a single/pair devs. the syncopation is of the kind you often don't even see in AAA games.
My wife LOVES cauliflower! Add white sauce, some cheese and bacon - what in the oven. Yum, yum
Cauliflower cheese is quite nice, yes, but mainly because of the cheese! I don't mind cauliflower, it is adequate, but I wouldn't really opt to have it over other vegetables if I were given a choice.
Loving this series. Pls continue till campaign end.
Have no worries, we're seeing this one through to the end!
Your commentary always make me smile! Thank you for enjoying playing the games, it makes your videos enjoyable to watch! Love this game. Hope your day is loaded with tea and pointy bits ❤
Obsessed; keep this series coming!!
Look how crooked your beanstalk is. 1:48 Mine is straight. I feel bad for you, lol. Good vid. EDIT:
You didn't equip your heroes charm. EDIT: You can move your granary by taking the workers out of it. When you move it, it won't lose anything that's in it. Or, you can just build another one, lol.
Loooving this series~ It's So cute and cozy! Keep on Keeping On, Penge, and thank you for doing what you do! :D
Thank you for the interesting video!
I think a big decorated town square would be nice for our new nobility homes as well
I need more of this. I don’t have a computer that can run this (yet). I live through you. lol.
Love this series.
Gold star for the Bonnie Tyler reference!
Go for the Jester's hat! And whatever person it was who delivers it.
Loving this series!
Let's go :) hoped supermarket sim came on lol
( 7:10 *raises hand* I like both Broccoli and Cauliflower, steamed, just not overcooked; and with a squeeze of lemon. *Waves to the Straw-hatted Fergus and the Red hooded girl* But an old vid so I'll stop here.)
You can click on a fabling and then do a street view thing where you follow them as they go about their day
You forgot to put a necklace for your Hero
Fergus' crystal isn't activated, you have to put it into one of the three black slots in the armory
One more vote for Farrah!
This game is deals with all the Fairy tales in fabledom. Which it fun..
can you decorate the hill next to the city like a cute fairytale forest
Farrah!! Farrah!! Farrah!!
I think her bonus would be super helpful + she’s one of the new characters (whereas Ramone has been there for ages), and it’s cool to see what’s new
I don't think you added the amulet
I wonder who it was that gifted you all that coal during your first winter 🤔…
Befriend Bob buddy brilliant 18:40
You said in a reply to a comment in the 1st vid that you make a bit of a discovery in the 3rd video. Well I just finished watching this video and I still don't see any logic/point in the huge 6x4 for the peasant housing. 6x4 feels like space is being wasted. Take that area near your bakery. If the houses were 4x4 leaving a 2x1 space between the backyards you could stick decorations/well between the houses and all the houses would gain benefits from the decorations that are there. If ya build a decoration in the yard of a house it only benefits that one house vs if you build it outside the yard, say in a section between two yards, then it will benefit all houses within range of the decoration not just one single house.
Still enjoying this series never the less. It's interesting to see how each person plays the game differently.
Sorry. My comment got deleted. I still think the inn is backwatds.
Do to a thing called Misophonia I might have to stop watching the Geek Cupboard. To add context Misophonia is a sound based sensitivity problem. Imagine if normal sounds like a crying baby, ASMR, chewing, swallowing, gulping, clearing throat, sounds that most people ignore or take for granted. But to someone with Misophonia it's like nails on a chalkboard. Every time Penge and other UA-camrs pause to swallow or clear their throats my whole body tenses up and I become unreasonably uncomfortable. Commonly these sounds might also cause irrational anger. I also have had to stop watching videos that involve eating food.
I've heard of misophonia. There was a game, I forget which one, that had a special 'Misophonia mode' that switched off chewing sounds so I had to take a look at what it meant!
I do try to keep any mouth sounds to a minimum but alas sometimes they just happen. I get it though, no point to subjecting yourself to something which makes you uncomfortable or sad. Maybe UA-cam's automated subtitles might not be so bad...?
@@TheGeekCupboard It's awful and I keep finding new sounds I hate. Gulping, swallowing, and clearing throat are the newest problematic sounds. Every time someone swallows or clears their throat while speaking my whole body seizes up and I convulse, Also chewing and general eating sounds, I think I'm the only person who hates ASMR, it's neurological and none of the doctors in my town know anything about it.
