    Wow !!!!
    That was beautiful
Thanks to the Hydro Museum for this !!❤
A lot of footage I’ve never seen before
Billy was my guy for sure
And to see Billy and Muncey together that’s the best !!!!
Every time I see the Black n Yellow checkerboard Comet
    I get goosebumps
    When I was a kid
That’s the boat I was pulling behind my bike
RIP Billy …. You will be missed in the hydro community 💖🙏🏽

A great racer, a good looking guy from Seattle...he had it all, and was a fine representative of the sport. Interesting, how he stopped, and then started his career a couple of times! The old thunderboats were the best, full of the sound and the fury of those huge aircraft engines. The noise of six hydros roaring full blast into the South Turn on Lake Washington, was epic, and unforgettable. Seattle was such a unique city to grow up in!...I am an old Boomer now, full of great memories growing up in this beautiful city.

I share a lot of your history, although am thoroughly disgusted at what they have done to our city.
