sir please tell us - if rupee depreciates by 10% then loss per GBP should be = [ (90/0.9) - 90 ] = 10. Institute answer shows 9. Which one is correct?

Conceptually 10 is correct.
ICAI solution is wrongly done...

you are correct, sir & institute has consider that rate of appreciation = rate of depreciation , which is incorrect
