To be fair, they probably wouldn't have actually accepted the first run. Moving the camera, chat calling you a cheater, etc.
Also shell0 didn't delete his run, he just improved it by 15 minutes

All joke aside, I am not sure who has that record, but it's very difficult to beat long time speedrunners that explored many obscure games. One that came to mind is authorblues who has runs for several hundreds of games. Also Arcus, mostly known for Ninja Gaiden, but who ran also many many NES games as temporary side projects or for races.

there is an interesting speedrun category for this game: bedless - basically no beds and no major skips such as dragon or glitches
1:11 the funny part is that despite how straight forward the beginning seems when you don’t know the strats, he just isn’t on WR pace at this point

ludwig definitely hired a chinese speedrunner and translator to script the whole thing.
as a train nerd, that TFW class 150/2 is surprisingly accurate, especially with the placement of the interlock lights and the overall BR mk3 coach design, and they even got the end gangway for when it couples up with other 150’s, the only thing i can point out is the doors are slightly wider than those of a class 150 and more akin to the likes of a class 313, 314, 315, 507, and 508, also with the lack of the yellow and black teeth i believe the doors are modelled off a Greater Anglia class 315, which is still based of the BR mk3 coach but built with a wider body and wider doors for high capacity commuter services, but my main question is why is a 150/2 in this game because normally in games like this the train is just some generic thing without any real world inspiration but that is clearly a class 150

Also normal in games like this, they use whatever stock models they can find online 95% of the time. Which is most likely what they did in this video game. You wouldn't expect someone who could make an accurate 3d model to also make shitty collision boxes.

One way you can tell that he doesn't cheat is when he lifts his right hand. That controls the mouse, his point of aim, so when he lifts it, his point of aim shouldn't move. Furthermore, when he brings his hand back to the mouse, it should immediately move. If you watched the livestream, you saw this happen multiple times. It happened multiple times in this video even.
