My friend got the appointment in Paris few years ago and established a relationship with the SA. Since then she just book the appointment with the SA directly and get BKC every year. I never got the appointment in Paris but my home store is NYC. So I just bought with my SA in NYC. To be honest I already have all the quota bags so I have shifted to Moynat and Delvaux. They are just as elite as Hermes.
covid time was much easier. now i heard is much harder. SA may not even have time to take your message or email because the stores are busy from morning til dawn. NYC home store.... prices are higher and need to pay NY tax... !
the tag can say "made in Italy" but it could be made in Albania. Years ago I knew a shoe designer / manufacturer in Italy (based in Florence), he did just that.
