- Great vampire decks is something Gwent players have wanted FOREVER!!! With the recent patch, CDPR tried so hard to give them to everyone. However, Gwent players have given up already. Milva is too strong. Radovid is too scary. Everything is terrible.
If you recall, last patch I tried a Vampire list and found it to be pretty good. Instead of slamming every card with the word Vampire on it into a deck, I prioritized picking the best Vampire cards and putting a powerful pointslam package around it.
Turns out it works even better with all the buffs. Fleder is insane and Regis Reborn is the real deal. Armored Arachas is basically a vampire given how incredible the bleed is. Garkain and Bruxa still remain solid picks on the low end. Crimson Curse is still 16 points for 10 provision.
Around that is tons of thinning and generally great cards. Give this deck a go if you want to play vampires. You'll be surprised!

I made Undevoted Vampires based on thrive before this patch, because I needed Heatwave and Oneira, but if you make it Devoted, I prefered Sabbath combo to double play Detlaff, Unseen Elder and Goliath. Based on some thrive too (nekkers + endriaga larvas + bruxa), because you have pretty large vampire units in your deck.
This... this looks like mine Big Ethereal deck, which is suprisingly good.
This is similar to the vampire deck I made as well. Actual vamps doesn't work too slow and lacking points.

Blue coin - end up with 6 cards
Red coin - end up with 7 cards
It's like cdpr designed cards so players spend max time by playing all 3 rounds.
Very difficult to get 2-0 now...
Speaking about the concept of boss monsters in card games. There are certain concepts that are subjective and boss monster is the feeling about a unit that englobes the whole concept of a deck,
ex: Kelly is a good example of what a boss monster is cause you build your deck around her.
Bran is not a boss monster cause he doesnt create a unique strategy, he just enables veterans and excess dmg to shine.
Same happens to new cards like Ara queen, Cerys,Saskia ...
Milva is a boss monster, new Weavess Incantation is a boss monster.
I hope that we see more boss monster cards in the future.
Another interesting concept would be wild cards.Cards that enable a certain amount of chaos and changes the natural laws of the game.
For some card games, wild cards involve a big amount of rng but in gwent that us not necesarily the case.
A wild card for me is Caldwell, both player have to have the biggest unit, something that is undesired in a normal game cause it can be punished by tall removal.
Another wild card is Shupe, he has so many options and can change the outcome of a game.
I hope they add more of this wild cards in the future too and that the cards dont rely on rng that much.
Amazing deck man. As you are on red on all matches shown, what is the strategy for blue? winning r1 at all cost?
I don't think you need to win at all costs but most of the time that will happen naturally. There are so many engines in the deck and since you will always want to have bleeding on a card to keep Regis going, it should happen naturally. Bleeding your opponent's hand round 2 is typically a good idea since your round 3 point slam is so good :)

If anyone wants a quick free win, I forfeit every vampire deck I’ve played the last 2 days…because bored of seeing. I always have hats off to anyone in any CCG game that knows even an unfair deck is more fun than playing the same damn thing for days.

The Regis vampire deck is so overpowered it's almost bullshit. I get bored playing with it and it's crap playing agsint it. People often forfeit against me as soon as soon as they see it. Playing against any monster with bleed is silly. They bleed you until the very last card where Regis comes in and swings the tide massively. Developers have to look into it. It's turning the game into a 1 faction game. Regis' stacking so much is ridiculous. At least reduce the bleed numbers or reduce the amount of bleed. Otherwise there's no way to stop it. I've genuinely stopped playing the game. It's boring. I hate winning like this.
