The Aparicio clip, when the players are being highlighted, was obviously not taken at the All Star game in DC, because Luis is wearing his road uniform, and the game was played in an American League venue. A later clip shows Aparicio hitting a triple, and you can see his home uniform as he pulls up at third.
No doubt! Check out the 1965 All Star Game at ua-cam.com/video/rBOPHEo6KLQ/v-deo.html The NL had 6 HOF's in the starting lineup (7 If you count Pete Rose)
When I think back about those days
All I can do is sit and smile.
That's when a sport was a sport.
And groovin' was groovin'.
John Mellencamp
Wasn't about the money like it is today... greed ruin's sports...
I'm with you my brother!!!

R.I.P. "BIG D"❣️
When baseball was baseball.
I was at the game with my father. I believe 1962 was the last year for two all star games a year.
Nice to see my good friend Billy Moran playing in both games . I believe that Bill was voted in by the players something he was very proud of.
Love big D - wow this needs to be retitled the Hall of Fame game.
