- Denver wins their 6th game in a row as they defeat Los Angeles, 124-114. For Denver, Nikola Jokic led the way with 35 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists aided by Michael Porter Jr. (25 points (five 3PM), 10 rebounds, four assists) and Jamal Murray (24 points, six rebounds, and 11 assists) in the victory. Lebron James recorded 26 points, nine assists, and three steals with Rui Hachimura tallying 23 points and Austin Reaves putting up 19 points and 14 assists for Los Angeles in the losing effort. Denver improves to 42-19 on the season, while Los Angeles moves to 33-29 with the loss.

Always talking about Joker but he is not doing it without stud Murray. Add in Gordon+Porter...how do you stop this collaboration of players working as a team? No other team can. When this Nuggets team all show up they are in a different league than any other.

Lebron, Harden, Claw, PG13, Westbrook, KD, AD, Kyrie, Steph, Giannis, Joel have paired with multiple all-stars in their career. I am betting ANYONE to go against Luka & Joker. Rings EVERY F.....IKG YEAR for the next 7!!
P.S. The less "gifted", physically, players have to excel in every other aspect in order to be efficient if their basketball IQ and understanding of fundamentals is off charts: Bird, Manu, Dirk, Luka, Jokic, etc. Here, Jokic is too slow to bring the ball down and up again upon the catch, thus has learned/acquired from a young age to NEVER bring the ball down(when catching it high) and finish the basket faster than the defender can react

Denver and Jokic are too much of a problem for LA's weak defense.
Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr. and Jokic punish everyone with their size. There's no efficient enough small ball template around right now to mitigate that. You have to box them out of your paint.

lakers had a great game today tbh Denver is just too clutch like they are on a mission against the lakers or something. Obviously congrats on Lebrons 40k points but aint nobody talking about how his last turnover and brick three which arguably lost them this game. In the end lakers as a team lost on MPJ 10/10 guarded by Lebron. But aint noone is recording turnovers and defense.

I came to a conclusion 😂 😂 -that these sports experts put other players before the Joker simply because the solution for stopping him stil does not exist.And they prefer other style of basketball.But how anyone can say that Jokić is not the best player in the world when almost everything he's doing on the floor is right on 🎯+he is playing the most effective way to play the game..he doesn't give interwievs,he's not in the media,and so on,,,,those are just justifications to not admit that Joker can't be stopped,and that he is the best player in the world.
Because he is:
1. Not American (although the next reason is the real 'why')
2. (And this second one is even more important to the NBA) - Not profitable... They need the guy who will be full of ego, sell a brand like shoes and jerseys, have tons of sponsors, while in a big city team that brings a big crowd, etc... Jokic is just a guy who is humble and nice. European players are more like that. They sell their skills, not the image and brand. American sports (NBA included, even if I am a big fan of it) are just money maker shows, and can't profit as much of a humble quiet guy in a smaller city team. So they push him down and promote the money makers.
