Found your post trying to figure out what went wrong with my new board PKMJ4A for the AS450U, AS900U, GG450U, GG900U, AS650U, AS1300U, GG650U, GG1300U, AS850U, GG850U, AS1700U, GG1700U gates. Turns out it was shipped with out a required jumper on the reset terminals. Left a comment because if I found your video trying to fix my problem some might read the comment even though it's a different board in the gate family.

You explained it well. Glad you mentioned turning off the power first. Coulda been ugly.
Is there a fuse that can be replaced on that board?
Why not just keep the old wire connectors to save you time
