While this is a pretty optimized run, it's come to my attention that I only obtained 9 of the 10 OCP Disks in the game, missing the one on the Expo walkways. It's also possible to pick up more kills in the efficiency challenges; in this run, Combat 2's stun caused a crash to desktop. Factoring that in, 73 skill points can be obtained, so there's headroom for maxing combat skills. Here are some things done here to maximize XP: * Maxed deduction as early as was able (deduction 10 after the 1st slaughterhouse fight) * Left notes behind and returned to them with maximum deduction possible for the area. * Completed every objective, getting the full 3000 XP award on evaluations. * Didn't allow Lewis to steal any kills in Channel 9 and only 1 in the slaughterhouse. * Went 29/10 and 81/20 in the efficiency challenges. * Performed extra scans where possible (e.g. the broken phone booths, wrong motorcycles, non-Kowalski matches). * Issued tickets at every opportunity (tickets grant XP, warnings grant public trust). * Found at least 1 trigger for duplicate spawns in the Steelyard by heading back inside and out again. * Allowed every reinforcement call to go through. * Picked up 9 OCP Disks (out of 10, unfortunately)
@Silver749 Good catch! I know I had one moment where I had a brain fart and picked up a note outside the recording (specifically the one that appears on the filing cabinet in the dispatch room) - was hoping there's not too much of that. Since this playthrough, I've also noticed that there also appear to be some experience awards that appear when you throw explosive items at ED209. But yeah, I don't think it's enough for the full boat of 8 skills.
I know I'm four months late, but aren't the police station notes chapter-specific? I remember missing them them the first time around and finding out this was the case after reading some guides. How am I supposed to go about collecting those notes?
Hey do you have a recommended skill and Auto-9 build to beat Beckers army of UEDs in less than 10 minutes. That's the last trophy I need for the platinum.
One thing that you can take advantage of in that level is how grouped up the UEDs are when the doors for each wave open. Memorizing the order or paying attention to the red lights that show which is about to open lets you take out groups of them immediately, either by throwing an explosive item or using the Combat 10 lethal shockwave. For the PCB, something with good accuracy and recoil I'd recommend with at least Focus 2. Then pay attention that their weakspot is at the very top of their heads. If you look closely, it looks like a disk and will pop off to expose a square circuitboard that you can then destroy with one shot and cause the enemy to attack its allies and then self-destruct.
@@auto_mata hey thanks turns out I already earned the trophy, it was just delayed popping up. I fired up the game and the platinum popped. I find the game very buggy and poorly optimized in places. Hopefully they fix that crap with the NG+ update they're working on.
you got xp on 'cunning prisoner'? I thought it was unattainable glitch. Let me guess: to get the xp from him, you must refuse to save him and leave him at the mercy of the guard who was pointing gun at him. am I right?
Nope, as long as you find the clue you can take him in dead or alive. Dead means three more kills in the basement, then three investigation scans after. He'll even be replaced by a guard in the electric chair rescue, so saving him is fully optional and a slightly lower XP route.@@jonghyun3725
@@auto_mata Now that I know there is an alternate option and getting higher xp, I guess I have little reason to take arcade owner alive.😈 BTW, for him to shoot at Robocop when he barged in was suicidally foolish... one new thing I discovered through this post: so there is a way to find and deactivate the sleep gas trap set up in Samantha's apartment room without triggering it (I did not even realize that it can be found and deactivated. Not that the gas hurts Robocop in any way)?
Yes, there's a tripwire near the floor of her apartment that triggers the sleeping gas. Scanning it disarms the trap. The only real difference there is that you get 18 XP from the scan.@@jonghyun3725
This is good gameplay but the difficulty is not extreme this is on normal at most it's still a good guide for ppl but don't clickbait by saying it's on the hardest setting when you know it ain't having completed the game on extreme difficulty I can assure you that Ed 209 is a lot tougher than against you and headshots require around 4 to 5 shots to kill the enemy and ocp tend to score at least 60 points on the efficiency challenge so it's a great effort and good choices with skills but not extreme difficulty at all
I'm afraid you're mistaken on that one. If your experience with ED209 on Extreme had a much different time to kill, you might want to load a save from that level and see if you had the Focus 6 double critical damage bonus unlocked by that point. That ends up making a massive difference. But if you really want to, one pretty easy way to verify the difficulty is seeing that the first hit taken from ED209 at 1:36:57 takes off 7% health. And the efficiency challenges really just reward aggression and dashing in to beat the NPCs to the punch. My previous run through was actually a bit better (85/16), but 80+ is readily doable: ua-cam.com/video/q3hDefGcXwc/v-deo.html

still, you managed to rack up 7.1 columns out of 8. It is far more than any posts that claims to be 100% walkthrough. Such a fantastic record!

I consider this game to be the true Robocop 3. Your opinion?
How do you manage to win the efficiency challenge in the OCP bank. You're outnumbered by the SWAT guys and ED-209s.

Pretty much, shown at 2:39:35. That is the choice that you need to make, and I believe that one of the recent patches allow you to make it.
