Citadel Post Mortem (90 Minute System Shock Medley)
A 90 minute medley of the soundtrack from the various floors of Citadel Station from the System Shock remake. This one does incorporate some of my previous arrangements, but largely extended and focused on a more even ambient flow with transitions. Accompanied by some of the scenery that Citadel has to offer and a bit of lore (including some embellishments).

WH40K Rogue Trader: Act 1 Boss (Daring, Aviation Saviour)
Переглядів 21811 місяців тому
Dang, a hair's breadth away from a no damage clear. Go home Aurora, you're clearly drunk. Even if you're going through on Unfair, it's probably easiest to bump the difficulty down to grab the achievement and just reload an earlier save after.
WH40K Rogue Trader: Dismantle the Forgefiend (Down to 0 Damage on Unfair)

Having trouble with the Forgefiend encounter? Make short work of it on any difficulty with one WEIRD TRICK your daemon doesn't want you to know! There are actually two things to note. One is that the Forgefiend's counterattack still tracks priority targets, so taunting is effective. But more than that, Pasqal alone can apply a set of debuffs that will immediately undercut the danger of all of i...

All of this occurs before the Grand Strategist's first natural turn. There is some setup, but note that this is not a fully optimized party nor did it use anywhere near all of the resources available. This is one of the penultimate endgame encounters on the highest Unfair difficulty. As a disclaimer, the game is enjoyable and you very well might not hit these sorts of problems at all if you're ...

Going through my most recent playthrough of Rogue Trader on the Unfair difficulty, I've clipped out the combat encounters. My aim was to have reasonable and concise clears of each, having each character contribute with a different archetype. I've declined to use mercs or stack officers, but that's not really necessary to reliably take down the fights. Rogue Trader: Strategist Sniper Abelard: Va...
Robocop Rogue City - Maxing Combat Skills Playthrough (Extreme Gameplay/No Cutscenes)

A playthrough on the Extreme difficulty on the PC. This run focuses on XP acquisition to see how close you can get to maxing out all of the skills. Which you can for all combat skills, at least. Includes some light editing to trim out the cutscenes and cut down on uneventful backtracking, but the collectables and gameplay should mostly be there. (Exceptions noted below.) Robocop Rogue City - Final Boss Under 70 Seconds Extreme (The Game's Most OP Gun?)
Переглядів 4,5 тис.Рік тому
Not counting the cutscenes, Rogue City's final boss can be burned down in under 70 seconds, spending much of that time staggered and unable to attack. The PCB used is shown at the end of the video, it's the Pellet/Boom Boom card found in the prison. Sub 60 seconds could be done by getting in a bit close and using reloading strike, so consider this slightly slow and safe!
Robocop Rogue City - Bank Efficiency Challenge: Winning 85 to 16 Extreme (PC, No Commentary)

No need to play it safe here. These enemies can chip away at your health, but there's enough recovery around to get you through. Instead of relying upon your opponents to distract the targets, better to wring every bit of XP from the level instead. In this run, I confirmed you can get max Deduction before the second mission award. Which leaves you with Armor 2/Engineering 2/Focus 6 by the first...
Robocop Rogue City - First Mission Gameplay (Extreme, Combat Only, No Commentary, PC)

Gameplay from the recently released Robocop: Rogue City. Footage is from the first level (Breaking News) on Extreme difficulty, trimmed down to the major combat encounters and hostage rescues. As with their previous Terminator game, a lot of attention and care obviously went into the world and recreating both the feel and various details from the films. On this setting, you certainly aren't as ...
Are the Repairbots Acting Funky? (System Shock Storage Remix)

First off, allow me to disclaim that this is not a real in-game log, so don't go hunting about for it. Ever listen to the Storage combat track and wonder what it would sound like if it was 80% more groove by volume and included the heavier guitars to boot? Wonder no more!
Cyborg Conversion Overcharge (System Shock Medical Remix)
Переглядів 3,4 тис.Рік тому
A remix of the Medical tracks from the System Shock remake, building up to elements from the combat track. Like Research, it's a level where you might find it hard to trigger the guitars in a normal playthrough - and they aren't featured in the OST combat track either. (If you are wondering about the footage with a surplus of Cyborg Drones, that can occur if you complete the level quickly and r...
Destruct Signal Received (System Shock Reactor Remix)
Переглядів 4,5 тис.Рік тому
An extended remix of the remake's Reactor tracks, making use of both the combat and exploration elements. While it includes some of the bits taken from the original's Energy Systems, it doesn't seek to replicate its structure. (The previous remix clove a bit more closely to that and in doing so left more than a bit uncovered.)
Recursive Echoes of the Eternal Throne (System Shock Bridge Remix)
Переглядів 5 тис.Рік тому
An extended remix of the Bridge music from the System Shock remake. Uses portions of what's heard in both the exploration and combat tracks on the OST. Fun fact: Bridge is the only level aside from Groves that doesn't have a metal-style guitar to kick in during high intensity combat.
System Shock Strategy: No Shot Autobomb Maze Clear
Переглядів 279Рік тому
This is a method to consistently clear the Autobomb Maze on the Bridge level without needing to fire a shot. You will need 7 proximity mines and a single frag grenade, which can be picked up pretty easily on the Security and Bridge levels. Footage shown is from an earlier no gun run I did a little while back, which prompted me to figure out a way to get through this part of the level reliably.

The only reason it doesn't have more views is because SHODAN is running youtube.
This is just straight fire.
This is fu*king great, thank you.
awesome dude.
I love how they went for a prey inspired ost, nice job
if you listen close all the old themes are still there just nice and ambient. Your brain might not notice but your ears will.
@@Calypso694 oh i definitely noticed, they did the perfect amount of callbacks while remaining different
As a fan of this series. As someone who has played the original SS on dos and SS2 dozens of times. This sounds very much like System Shock. I vote to make Auto Mata's remixes be the OST
Playing remake right now and music is just silence occasionally changing into super heavy combat tier music. Really sad that they couldn't capture the music of original
they keep melodies but it wouldn't fit in the remake
good video for me at work.
thanks you so much. did 3333 cause of this.
What the program did you use to open folders of System Shock: Remake and export the sounds/track/music files?
FModel allows you to explore the resources for a lot of different Unreal Engine games, including System Shock, Atomic Heart, Boltgun, and the like.
@@auto_mata I asked because I got tired of doing it with UE Viewer, but it only exports models with textures. Now I'll try with FModel.
This remix is so good, I could listen hours by hours and I wouldn't change this track to other. It's a great piece of work.
Thanks for the guide, I finished in about 4.5 hours following your vids. Game was a lot of fun and not too difficult except for the final cyberspace encounter which I had to practice for like 2 hours until I basically memorized all the wave/spawn locations, and got really efficient at it.
I got stuck here for a minute looking for the broken demodulator. I think the location is randomized on mission 3, because it was not in that location in Delta Quadrant for me. I ended up going to the Repair Bay (southeast corner), I clicked the machine on the wall which dispensed the audio log, then I went over to the Relay Analyzer (northwest corner) and entered the code 428 from the audio log. I believe these conditions may have been necessary to "trigger" the broken demodulator in a random spawn location(?). I ended up checking all four maintenance mazes, and I finally found it in Alpha up north.
Yes, I should have pointed that out in the video or description - on difficulties above Mission 1 the location of the broken demodulator will be randomized. Things like some security codes and the repair location are randomized per playthrough, so if you did use a common start save for multiple playthroughs you'll find them to be the same place.
MAN I'm so happy you made this thank you so much... !!
How was he doing no damage to you? My health would be gone standing in front of him like that I had to cheese behind the van
In the first phase he has a damage based stagger, so you just need to keep firing as you move into mid range. If he starts firing, get just close enough to bait the melee attack and he'll stagger before he can pull it off. That means in the second phase you can activate the shield ability and pop a repair kit to burn him down. You'll take reduced damage as you're healing. By focusing on DPS, you get him to the third phase before those wear off. Then there's the slight lull before the missiles land, and he should more or less be done before phase 3 is much of an issue.
@@auto_matasweet. I thought this boss was really hard when I beat him last night… seeing you just stand in his face and blast him to death was a surprise 😅
6:14 had me vibing. Love this.
Me lo coji en 1 minuto
Your remixes are my background songs while I go about my day. Incredible work!
I was hoping for something like that. Fucking nice. Thanks
Its been a bit since I finished my playthrough. Are these your remixes of the level themes or just all the themes that shipped with the game all lined up? Either way great video.
The game actually stores the music as separate pieces by layer and uses an intensity manager to dynamically generate music for the game, while the released soundtrack manually builds tracks from those. These are built from those pieces from the ground up (and adding a couple of synth loops in places), so they do end up diverging by a fair amount.
@@auto_mata Interesting. Learned something new. I wonder why they sounded slightly different than what I remember.
Wow, what a treat, thanks for sharing. I love your remixes, they have such a soothing vibe, perfect soundtrack for me to get some focused work done...
Stellar work, man.
Wanted to further deepen my appreciation for this. It's impressive to see how you've made all the different compositions, and essentially made new versions of the already-established tracks. I'll definitely be visiting this one a lot, during my creative hours.
Cool upload m8
Hell yeah, all the songs together, finished the game 2 times on my PS5, would recommend to anybody, sad that it’s underrated tho.
I just did a 3333 run. his videos helped me out.
This is good gameplay but the difficulty is not extreme this is on normal at most it's still a good guide for ppl but don't clickbait by saying it's on the hardest setting when you know it ain't having completed the game on extreme difficulty I can assure you that Ed 209 is a lot tougher than against you and headshots require around 4 to 5 shots to kill the enemy and ocp tend to score at least 60 points on the efficiency challenge so it's a great effort and good choices with skills but not extreme difficulty at all
I'm afraid you're mistaken on that one. If your experience with ED209 on Extreme had a much different time to kill, you might want to load a save from that level and see if you had the Focus 6 double critical damage bonus unlocked by that point. That ends up making a massive difference. But if you really want to, one pretty easy way to verify the difficulty is seeing that the first hit taken from ED209 at 1:36:57 takes off 7% health. And the efficiency challenges really just reward aggression and dashing in to beat the NPCs to the punch. My previous run through was actually a bit better (85/16), but 80+ is readily doable: ua-cam.com/video/q3hDefGcXwc/v-deo.html
Nice, reminds me a bit of trent reznor works on quake 1 soundtrack at the end when it goes off the guitar into noisy ambience.
Bro thank you for showing me this. I'm at this part right now.
amazing pathing thanks for the help
How to avoid the purple fire
You need to break line of sight to avoid it, but it does have a cast time. This video should show the methods in action: ua-cam.com/video/-t__rSjR4K4/v-deo.html
That synth sound that starts at 1:00 is like a cheat code for my brain - It's so moody and atmospheric, I instantly fall in love with any song that uses it. Great arrangement!
Probably they cut it because there were no mutants in the VDNH... actually no, there are in the dark room.
That's one mighty kick...
HOW!!!!!????
Mostly the Vortex Grenade, it's a boss-killer. Make sure to grab it and save it for here if you want to make short work of the fight.
@@auto_mata I'll try, this boss kicking my butt.
I did the same thing in my first playthrough
It's absolutely criminal that this video doesn't have more views. What an outstanding remix using System Shock's music assets to generate what's essentially an "official remix". 11/10 remix for an 11/10 game.
"Not anything too crazy" lol I just finally beat this game for the first time ever and am using this as a guide for my 3/3/3/3 walkthrough, and you're so insanely good at this. No way I'll keep even close to these times but it's so unbelievably handy and I've already found so many secret areas and miscellaneous items I totally overlooked my first go around. Really appreciate it!
Do you have a good tip for the order I should follow these videos in for my 3/3/3/3 run? I notice you go back to Maintenance at the end here, but then the following video is the Bridge. I'm a first time player (loving this game) and trying to get a good layout of videos set up for my hard difficulty run.
There are two things that you can look at. The playlist generally has everything in order, except for Groves and Executive being separated into their own videos despite you needing to go through Executive to get to the different groves. There's a Steam guide called "System Shock Quick Routes" that has a more in depth description of the exact path that was used and noting some of the alternatives. That's in a section called "Route" near the top.
@@auto_mata Found that yesterday and started my journey finally! Can't thank you enough.
Hello and thank you for the guides! I am a bit lost though in your video order, can you clarify what to watch next? Thank you for your hard work!
If you take a look at the Executive video next, it will pop up a link when the first Grove comes up around 30s into the video, and basically let you know when each grove is visited (since they are actually on Executive). I know it's a little less than straightforward since the actual order to visit things is Executive -> Alpha Grove -> Executive -> Delta Grove -> Executive -> Beta Grove -> Executive. But that Executive video should call out when each grove is visited.
@@auto_mata thank you for reply! I was wondering about the transition from storage to executive, because here you return to maintenance, and then again after the executive I think goes to systems engineering, but are there any maintenance things I should be aware of doing? I am currently in first 3233 playthrough and just reached executive and going as blind as I can because I am loving the game and want to try for platinum (PS5)
Short answer is that aside from picking up the laser rapier and replacing the demodulator, Maintenance passthroughs are usually just to consolidate inventory. There's a Steam guide name "System Shock Mission 3 Quick Route" that goes over these videos. That has a "Route" section near the top that has a little more detail and explains some of the choices that were made there.
@@auto_mata Thank you very much for the clarification, I will definitely check it out. Thank you for the videos, they will definitely be helpful!
thanks for the guides, you've helped a lot.
Such a horribly designed fight, I have no clue why they haven't redone it entirely. Winning and losing shouldn't hinge on RNG not letting one dude annihilate 1-3 of your guys before you even get a turn.
I feel like I would of disliked this because of the voices, but it actually does a pretty job of giving a vibe. This entire song, when mixed the voice tracks, comes off as like shodan as set up a massive trap of elite cyborgs in a big maze and your frantically running back forth, trying desperately to not get flanked and flashing your dwindling supply of ammo for every gun you got before you are forced to retreat and try another path. If you do something like this again, may I suggest looking at the Cyborg Mantis voice lines? Some of them would be great for another combat theme. He's arguably another one of shodan tragic cyborgs - arguably more so than the elites - just gonna write the theory down here if you want to read it. No obligation. I think the security cyborgs - the one with the black round heads like the security force hats - are all security forces that were assimilated first. Because they were captured and changed first and in a rush, shodan used what is historically known to work in changing human minds....she has lobotomized them. Lobotomy subjects experience a range of symptoms, from loss of emotion to child like mindset. The two sec drones assassin drone: who have no emotions and speak plainly. and the cyborg mantis drone: who speaks like a child and is confused. She then further manipulated and augmented their minds to make the effects worse or more stable so she can utilize them more easily. Shodan had destroyed these humans so much they can't even express or cope with what happened to them. I wouldn't be surprised if a autopsy was done on the sec drones you'd find a big chunk of their right or left hemisphere cortex ripped up and jammed with cybernetics as a patch job. You see too with Diego - diego becomes more unstable and in pain each time you beat him. By the third time she's lost medical, surgery options and had to rush him out and his personality was almost destroyed/ he was begging for death from the pain - The scary thing about Shodan is not that she can do great augmentation work....but she can do bad ones too and dosen't care when she does if it works. Fitting for an AI.
I don't know why, but the more chill bits of this song reminds me of Mirrors Edge for some reason. It just got a sense of pace and airy instrument and tech to it that really echoes some aspect of it to me.
Interesting title, cool video, good remix. You clearly had fun working on every bit of this and it shows, good job.
Why you give the song a black metal title
Machine spirit on the plasma gun is broken and I love it
I AM HERE TO TAKE BACK THE THRONE OF GOD!!!!!!
Rewatching this.. you *gotta* go Zero Chill mode in Beta Grove…
Or bypass it entirely as a heretic apparently, and have it become your servant. I was looking forward to this fight, only to never have it happen as a heretic.
Hey do you have a recommended skill and Auto-9 build to beat Beckers army of UEDs in less than 10 minutes. That's the last trophy I need for the platinum.
One thing that you can take advantage of in that level is how grouped up the UEDs are when the doors for each wave open. Memorizing the order or paying attention to the red lights that show which is about to open lets you take out groups of them immediately, either by throwing an explosive item or using the Combat 10 lethal shockwave. For the PCB, something with good accuracy and recoil I'd recommend with at least Focus 2. Then pay attention that their weakspot is at the very top of their heads. If you look closely, it looks like a disk and will pop off to expose a square circuitboard that you can then destroy with one shot and cause the enemy to attack its allies and then self-destruct.
@@auto_mata hey thanks turns out I already earned the trophy, it was just delayed popping up. I fired up the game and the platinum popped. I find the game very buggy and poorly optimized in places. Hopefully they fix that crap with the NG+ update they're working on.
Oh, this new mix.. *COME, HACKER; AND MEET THE NEW HORIZON.”
