What is the Pitch Perfect franchise about?
Arriving at her new college, Beca (Anna Kendrick) finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together. When Beca leads this a cappella singing group out of their traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of college music competitions. The thing that astounds me about Pitch Perfect every time is the fact that they got PTX; who actually in REAL LIFE won a singing competition against many much larger groups, and had them NOT be the biggest competition for the Bellas.
Probably because PTX aren't real actors and would have been uncomfortable with bigger roles. And besides that, they probably didn't have the time to be a main part of the movie. Would have been cool though.
And people like Johnny Illuminati in the background!

@@lifeisbitvlover171 did you not read my reply the director revealed a few years later after this becoming frequently asked and he said that they tried it with music but it didn’t work so they had a sound oaky through the headphones to let Brittany know that she should start so there was never any music playing!
