those little lamps give it a very cosy and unique feel almost like a flying restaurant, and the alcohol selection is better than others. Not many give Blue Label Johnnie Walker
I love how you give gifts to the flight attendants! That alone was enough to make me subscribe and hit the notification bell, but your charming personality and cute accent keep me watching everything that is suggested to me!
Dominik, the English videos keep getting better and better, and you have a very charming persona. It’s very pleasant to watch, really :-). Funny to hear the explanation I remember from the German video in the background, lol.
Dominic... What WONDERFUL and INFORMATIVE video's you provide...You have such a pleasant camera presence and speaking voice... THANK YOU, for all the information you provide...I wish you and Stephan clear skies and smooth travels!!! BE PEACE... -Matthew Edward
Now that was a First Class Business Class flight! They didn't miss anything that would make your trip more enjoyable. After seeing all that food I had to go make myself a sandwich, and I didn't have any duck. ;-(. Giving the flight crew a gift was a new experience - I've never seen any other reviewer do that, and it's a nice touch for excellent service.
At 22:36, those three sweet snacks shown in quick succession are the tastiest snacks I've had on ANY airline. They are: white chocolate roll (CAL must have these specially made, I could NOT find anything similar in Taiwan), the shortbread cookie (so yummy) and the piece de resistance--pineapple cake made by Chia De 佳德, Taiwan's BEST brand of pineapple cakes---they have a main store in Taipei. I've seen tourists buy them by the caseload--it's THAT good! Grab yourself extras of these treats next time you're in CAL Business.
Excellent - A big fan of China Airlines's new long-haul biz product - Flew their A350 out from London to Taipei n back earlier this year. Maybe it's only when airborne, but the toilets had piped music on my flights (so cute!), and what look like big grey smears on the toilet walls are mountain views, inspired by classical Chinese ink-wash paintings. What I see the 777 did way better was the walk-up bar - The A350's was smaller, and crew were half-hearted in setting it up - no drinks set out, just some snacks, no literature - in fact it seemed to be a crew rest and congregation area for most of the flight.
Woah! What a meal! I thought the one with eggs and that duck thing was your mains. Hahaha great review sir! :) please do more review on asian carriers.
Question: Why do you always get the last row for business class (near economy class)? Is it because you bought a promo tickets or upgrade seats? Usually business class pax always avoid the last row as they can hear the noisy economy class neighbors..
The reason is: Normally the seats next to us are empty. So we can film - as you saw on many videos of Stefan - from the middle position. This is the only reasonl
Dominic ... ❤️ your videos. Sometimes Stefan makes videos in German about your travels. Then I go to find same video on your channel in English but you don’t always post 😢. Yes I subscribed to get all your videos
I thought you had to close the compartment door so you can use both the headphones and the remote. Awesome trip report thank you for sharing specially the part where the FA closes the door - I haven’t seen that before.
Hey Dominik! I’ve been watching Stefan’s videos for a while and just heard about yours in the Qantas A380 video :) and I was always wondering...what does Dominik do while Stefan is making videos? Well, now I know. It’s great to watch both videos of your trips!! And yes, Laugenbrötchen are called “pretzel rolls” here in the US. They’ve become popular recently.
As much as I fly I have people ask me about China Airways and Air China. I first tell them Not to confuse the two. China Airways is great. Air China...... Sucks. Is what it is.
Haha sorry I live in Australia... although I do speak German and 'Lauge' in Laugengebäck translates to lye. They get the name as they are dipped in lye before being baked. In Australia we call them either I guess, though they are typically rare here.
Marcus Shor No need to apologize. If this type of Brötchen is rare in Australia you can try making lye rolls and lye pretzels at home. I can send you a recipe to make them.
Don't get me wrong, they do exist, there are a bunch of German restaurants here where I live in Sydney, but typically at normal modern Australian restaurants you wouldn't find this around. Usually we have just sourdough or normal white bread rolls. It is rare to even see them in a supermarket here, so I love to eat them when I get the chance. Plus, I am hopeless at cooking 😂 I am going back to Germany this year so I can't wait to indulge in authentic German cuisine
In the US , we call that a pretzel roll/bread. 😀 I know you currently live in Germany , are you originally from another country ? Your accent is very different from Stefan. Great video. ✈
Luxury Aviator - Goodness! I sure hope you received Champagne instead. Champaign, is, of course, a lower-middle class suburb of Chicago. Happy travels!
Nope, it's just our second channel. GlobalTraveler.TV/youtube :-) The German audience didn't like the mix between German and English spoken videos in one channel. That's why we separated them.
Hey so who can speak English better you or Stephan? and can you guys speak Chinese or even a bit of Taiwanese on the plane? You know, it can bring the relationships between East and West better. That is one thing that you can improve on. Anyway, good report though.
I am a frequent Emirates user but having seen both your reviews I am.going to.give CA a try. Apart from being cheaper I never feel very comfortable giving money to you airlines whose countries do not have a good LGBT record
Lol bin zufällig auf diesen Kanal gestossen xD^^ Tolles Video :D

Good video ☺always good when the cabin is shown not just the seat. So you can make a good decision seat selection wise
I love your style of reviewing. Congratulations on your job well done.
Hello guys, I’m a new subscriber and I just love your reporting. Looking forward to your next video, ciao
Excellent and comprehensive review 👍. Great content. And the brown colored roll/bread is called a pretzel roll in the 🇺🇸
Dominik, the English videos keep getting better and better, and you have a very charming persona. It’s very pleasant to watch, really :-). Funny to hear the explanation I remember from the German video in the background, lol.

Excellent review. Great attention to detail and just the right pace. Can't wait to see your review of their A350 business class!

Woah! What a meal! I thought the one with eggs and that duck thing was your mains. Hahaha great review sir! :) please do more review on asian carriers.

Super!
Jared Wonderchild Super Aussprache, wie ein Muttersprachler. Bisschen mehr Betonung
the bun in the states is called pretzel roll.

@@louisaugustexvi4515 Not much of a reason but to each his own I guess.

Laugengebäck is a lye roll
Marcus Shor It's called a pretzel roll in the US. I love it when the roll is used as a hamburger bun.

Pretzel roll
So impressed. Water for a welcome drink. I would have walked right off the plane. Well, at least you were impressed by the quality of the oshibori.
