China Airlines is great - it’s got a good price point, quite a lot of routes and the crew are extremely polite and professional . The cabins are also fresh and modern

I flew China Airlines manila to Taipei back in April for their new schedule launched. It was amazing. New airplane, great food, spacious cabin, crews are wonderful and it was a 💯 for me.

We have flown the Vancouver to Taipei, Taipei to Denpasar route several times with different airlines, In my opinion the China Air business class experience is one of my favourites.
Experience China Air Few years ago... was in economy class but the FOOD IS GREAAAAAT... keep it up. God bless

Nice video! I will also be going to Taipei next week. I was originally going to fly China Airlines round trip, but I found amazing award availability from Delta for MSP-ICN. Delta One business class for only 89k miles! Really excited to fly business class for the first time. Convenient too since I am based in MSP. Then for my return flight it will be China Airlines Premium Economy TPE-SFO. Seems like a great airline so I’m sure even premium economy will be a nice experience.

Taiwan’s China Airlines, callsign Dynasty has been underated for a long time. The airline actually has good product and services.

I've always enjoyed my flights on China Airlines. Even in economy.
My first time and it was a good experience! Would definitely fly them again and I might because their business class award availability is better than other airlines right now!
Same here there food and service was really good too. I think a little better then there competition EVA airlines. Next time you can try Starlux airline if you have not. 😊
We flew biz class from LHR-VIE on Austrian a few weeks ago, and they weighed our carry on too.
The seats look nice and that was a very generous pour of JW blue
I remember flying a year ago on CAL business class and find the Korean Air lounge stinks. Very measly selection and portions of food choices.
Perturbed why CAL doesn't have its own lounge considering they've been a major airline at LAX for decades.
Otherwise great vid and it's nice to see China Airlines has maintained its high business class standards.
If you ever come across the Tung Po Pork 東坡肉 selection on CAL, go with that cuz it was HEAVENLY! Beats any meal I've had in the sky
Great video man, If I was to nitpick on something, I'd say your audio levels are mismatched or needs to be equalized appropriately. When the music came on, I had to lower my volume and when u were speaking, I had to turn it up a lot. Just for your future videos! The quality of the video and everything else was awesome !

Great video. Thank you! No pajamas on CI, huh? They don't weigh the carry-on for Business class though, do they? What about your connecting flight from TPE to ICN, do they weigh carry-ons in economy there? If they do, I'll have to plan my packing better as we fly carry-on only.
Hey Max, I flew premium economy with Singapore airline last summer, and I had the same problem with my carry on as urs. First, it is surprising to me that they were so strict about carry on weight that never happen to me before at US airports. Iam not sure if it happens to other airlines as well besides Singapore airline and China Airlines.
Thank you for sharing your amazing experience. The cabin, service and food looks amazing, but if I paid for a premium cabin seat and had that lounge experience, I'd be really PO'd. LAX has to be one of my least favourite airports for many reasons, the lounge and boarding experience is by far the most contentious.
OK after watching this video - will book our flight from SYD to HK on J. It's 2.7K per person AUD cheaper than Qantas.
I flew Business on EVA and thought their food was better than China Airlines.The seat and bedding were similar. The cabin on China Airlines looks nicer. I wonder if you've flown both and care to compare.

I booked 5 months before the flight.
For this upcoming winter not much award space but you'll find some in spring and summer 2024 out of ONT / LAX / SFO!
The CA A350 is the best business class I’ve flown. Way better than any U.S. based airline. We flew it when it was new in 2019 from Ontario on our way to Bali. “Stop in TPE” Awesome experience.

It’s CI instead of CA. If you wrongly choose CA, it would be another horrible experience 😮
Personally, I like the United Polaris window seat better than these herringbone configs. Even though there's no door, the narrowish gap into your seating area provides a lot of privacy.

Eva weighs the carry ons even for business. When my dad flew them I would always hold on to his carry on while he checked in. I flew CI this past April because BR availability was not there. Got lucky and found saver awards via AF RT. It was above avg way better than Y but prefer BR J when available. The Star gold lounge at tbit is way better than the KE lounge. The centurion lounge was closed at 10pm!?!?
Ah yes the Star Alliance lounge is much better. I haven't flown BR yet to compare but hope to one of these days. Thanks for sharing!

Went go to Taipei visit my family. Cost so much though Delta. Would you tell how to transfer these points to other airlines if they have better rates

Really helpful video. I also just booked China airline business class tickets through Air France using points. How do i go about getting a seat and meal selection? I contacted air France and they told me to contact china airlines, however the website is not recognizing my ticket number provided by air france. Any advice on what to do next?
Ok this is interesting , because when I booked earlier this year I had no issues selecting my seat. But as of the last couple months you can’t select your seat so the best way is to go to the My Bookings page on Czech Airlines and select your seat there.
@@MaxMilesPoints I ended up calling China Airlines service number. Was on hold for over an hour before a representative picked up and was able to give me a seat assignment in less than a minute.

I assume the instant noodles were only available to business class passengers?
TAP Air Portugal will weigh your carry on while you are in line to board. So you can't check the bag or shift weight to a checked bag. It felt like a scam for them to collect 60 euro overweight fees.
Kavalan would have been a much better choice than Blue label

@@MaxMilesPoints ahh I saw a glimpse of root beer but couldn’t tell for absolutely sure which is why I commented. our sales associate offered that one to me but perhaps in the next several years I’ll be old enough for a two tone piece. I think it goes better with a little grey hair 😅

Im tired to see the safran cirrus seats. Ive flown in qatar biz, china airlines biz and eva biz. I like the zodiac SQ seat better. Despite many folks hating its side sleeping.
No qantas or Singapore airlines but still ok

I booked Singapore Airlines instead of China Airlines due to the drill around Taiwan island which made us uneasy.

Better than the China airline sfo lounge. The sfo lounge is small dingy and awful food.
This plane is made from ME AND MY FATHER
My husband and I flew on China South to New Zealand. It was a nightmare. Rude people inedible food. I took a handful of Tylenol PM just to escape the horror and sleep all the way there.
It was so bad we abandoned our flight home and took New Zealand Air. It was fantastic. China Airines are only great if you’re Chinese!!

@@MaxMilesPoints It messed up my feelings about what I’ve always loved about the Chinoiserie Culture. The 8 hours trapped in Guangzhou airport was unbearable. I’d learned a few phrases in Simple Chinese and everything. 😔
You have mix up a Chinese airline and a Taiwanese airline. Chinese airlines are mediocre at best, but Taiwanese ones (including China Airlines) are all great.
